Body Type: Ectomorphic; although all that remains of him is a torso, Maul never once seemed to lose his muscle-tone, even in exile. Depending heavily upon his skill with a double-bladed lightsaber, as well as the Force, Maul maintains excellent upper body strength and tone. He is, however, rather thin in comparison to his large, brutish brother, Savage.
Attire: He wears the robes robes of a Sith Lord, ever since acquiring his legs once more.
Markings/Piercings/Tattoos: While most Zabrak males have pale, unassuming skin-coloring, they are born with slightly darker markings in tribal patterns on their bodies. Maul's tattoos cover the entirety of his body, and are black in color. These were given to him at a young age by Darth Sidious, to darken his natural markings and to make him look more intimidating. He also has a crown of horns on his head, two of which are much longer than the rest while a few others have broken off. It is assumed that the length of a Zabrak's horns signifies his age or rank among other males.
Personality: Darth Maul's life and motivations are based around revenge. As a Sith apprentice, Maul sought revenge against the Jedi for their triumph over the Sith, and wanted to return the Sith to power over the galaxy. After his exile and the restoration of his mind, Maul turned his thoughts of revenge towards the galaxy, declaring himself and his brother the true Sith Lords; and especially towards Obi-Wan Kenobi, after the Jedi defeated him and forced him into exile after the war on Naboo. He felt the vacuum from losing power, having known about the Clone Wars and intending to be part of it, only to learn that the Sith plans moved on without him. Maul was therefore willing to go to great lengths to achieve his vengeance, including slaughtering civilians and thrusting Mandalore into civil war to gain power and draw Kenobi out into the open. During his exile, Maul's mind was shattered. He became obsessed with revenge, fueled and kept alive only by his hatred for Kenobi, despite losing his mind and many memories. His aggression and fear increased in his crazed condition, as Maul attacked Opress when he first encountered his brother on Lotho Minor. It required magic from Mother Talzin to restore his mind, bringing him clarity again while still preserving his desire to seek revenge against those who had wronged him. However, despite his ruthless and vindictive nature, Maul is not completely heartless. He shows genuine care for his brother, Savage Opress, and their mother, the Dathomir Witch Mother Talzin. Though Maul doesn't always get along with Opress, they do genuinely care about each other.

Double-Bladed Lightsaber
Maul based this lightsaber on an ancient Zabrak weapon known as a Zhaboka. The weapon was designed with a redundant set of internal components, which could be used if the others were disabled. In addition to the ability to wield either a single blade or both, the weapon also featured blade modulation controls.[Wookieepedia]
Barloz-Class Medium Freighter
Although disabled in the aspect of flight, the crashed freighter ship serves as something of a home for Maul, Savage, and Kylo. With the help of Porter, the freighter now at least can support the technological systems, as well as any electrical components that run through the living quarters. However, using the ship for flight or communication is sorrowfully impossible.
Thrash the Nexu
Thrash is one of three Nexu cubs that were on the freighter carrying Maul and Savage to Zanbar before being hijacked by pirates. She is the only surviving cub after the crash landing all three passengers on Earth, and is now a much beloved pet of Maul. Nexus are agile predators with four red eyes and sharp quills. They have infrared vision and average at about 4.51 meters long and typically 0.94 meters tall. Nexus possess sharp teeth and claws, as well as long tails.
Abilities/Skills:
As the apprentice of Darth Sidious, Maul was trained to be a weapon of the Sith, one intended to help Sidious bring about the destruction of the Jedi and take over the galaxy. He became an acrobatic warrior, one who could relentlessly pursue his enemies while utilizing his double-bladed lightsaber. He showcased his efficiency with a blade against Qui-Gon Jinn on Tatooine and Naboo, allowing him to kill Jinn in their second encounter; it was during this duel that Maul took on two Jedi Knights at once, holding his own very well against them. It was an overconfidence in his abilities, however, that allowed Kenobi to get the better of him and defeat him, leading to the loss of the lower-half of his body and over a decade of crazed-exile in the Outer Rim.
Maul later defeated Kenobi in a number of encounters after emerging from exile, including on Mandalore, though their duel on Florrum ended in stalemate.
Maul is also familiar with a Nightsister ritual which involved drinking Magick water to commune with the spirits of fallen Nightsisters.
Weaknesses:
- Though not exactly a weakness, Maul has been known to become overconfident in his abilities as a Sith Lord. This, in turn, can cause him to let his guard down, like he did during his fight against Qui-Gon Jin and Obi-Won Kenobi, and leave himself open for a surprise attack.
- Aside from this, he has very few, if any weaknesses to account for.
