• About Sahal

  Don't let the furry black ears that poke up through Sahal's black hair lull you into a false sense of security. Observant folks might notice that something is amiss - after all, he has claws and piercing green eyes with slit-pupils that you could fall into. However, all of this is just window dressing for the corrupt, demonic heart that's hidden just below the surface. His creator had a sense of whimsy: the ears are just part of the appearance he was crafted with and he's strangely sensitive about them. Otherwise, Sahal is human-looking - this often leads to fun times with local priestesses.
  
  Forged from the fires of pure chaos, this black-blooded demon has found his niche in the human cities and has a particular appetite for those with any kind of holy aura. Sahal is quite capable of throwing on a deceptive smile and playing lawful evil when the circumstances call for blending in, but his true nature is something else. Anyone around him for very long is going to notice that he has strange tastes. Just don't call him a wolf.

• Additional Description

  Sahal typically wears his priest outfit, consisting of:
  ▫ A form-fitting, black, sleeveless tunic with vertical emerald stripes roughly where sides meet front and back. His top is devoid of insignia and other distinguishing features.
  ▫ Form-fitting black pants with continuing stripes.
  
  Off the clock, Sahal enjoys the occasional opportunity to relax and share a casual, candid conversation with members of the other side. If you have the time, he'll have a cup of tea ready for fellow (un)holy subordinates in the style of "Wolf and Sheepdog," but he always goes back to evil when it's time to punch in.

  Though Sahal is an agent of an insane force of destruction, this does not mean that he's insane, violent, or the like. In fact, he's an example of "chaotic evil does not mean chaotic stupid".

• D&D and other fantasy settings

  Sahal would fit in as a polymorphed Baatezu or Tanar'ri, a priest of a deity like Tharizdun or Vecna, or something equally as terrible.
  
  Lawful evil or chaotic evil, this priest swings both ways...
  
  
  
  Elsewhere, he serves a story-appropriate evil god. We can figure out something that works for the setting.
