Personality: {Before the death of Cayde-6}Naomi is a very serious Guardian that handles everything with a bit of grace. She is more of a rouge/lone hunter, but can work well with others when she needs to or when sharing a common goal. Her closest friends are Azriel, Cayde-6, Lord Shaxx, and Lord Saladin. She finds Shaxx and Saladin's stories to be extremely interesting and thinks they are both good people to have in her corner. Cayde-6 and Ghost are some of her closest and dearest friends, she will often mention how the both of them have saved her in more than just one way.
{After the death of Cayde-6} She now is colder than ever before, and absent minded, her heart teeters between the light and the dark. She can even become extremely violent at times either when getting into a heated argument or when it comes to slaying enemies that stand in her way. Controlling her emotions has become even more difficult for her.

Flaws: When Naomi is sad, she expresses it with anger. She doesn't properly know how to grieve. Often when sad, she has outbursts and fits of anger. Should she actually ever full on only express sadness, it have to be something that shook her to her very core. Or, when she has nothing else or doesn't know what to do, her sadness replaces anger and she becomes a mess.

Naomi was a highly skilled Awoken assassin during the Dark Age who swore her alliance to Queen of the Awoken, Mara Sov, and Mara Sov alone. She was an extremely skilled and deadly opponent that never once failed a mission, not even her 'final' mission was a 'failure'.

Naomi's life held little excitement when she lived under the rule of Mara, not that she actually seemed to mind. She was of use to her queen like this, and she was damn good at what she did. Why change that? That day of her final mission began with her answering the summons of her Queen. The awoken entered the room before she immediately knelt before her with a bowed head and a hand over her heart. Mara was aloof and enigmatic as ever upon her entrance, and of course even her ever so doubtful and spiteful brother, Uldren Sov, prince of the Awoken stood near. Naomi never understood why he even bothered showing up during her assignments, the prince held an obvious dislike for the assassin. However, this time, she did not like that look upon his face. That smirk. It made her feel as though he knew something she did not, and she absolutely hated that feeling.

Naomi was given what should have been a simple task for the likes of her, an assassination target on Earth. Easy. Probably someone that failed to keep up their end of a deal they'd made with Mara. It was not unheard of, and her aloof and enigmatic demeanor belied her ruthless nature. She was always making deals, all the other had to do was keep up their end, those that didn't earned her wrath and a target upon their back.
Naomi set out that day using a ship that bore the symbol and colors of her queen.
Upon her arrival, Naomi found her target extremely easily, in fact it was was too easy. As much as her gut told her this was too simple, it was an order form her Queen, and she was not about to fail her. Once she had made it to her target, a bearer of Light stood before her, a human male, confronted her notified her he had been expecting her. What ensued, was the fight of a lifetime, for both the assassin and the Light bearer. He had abilities Naomi had only heard of and seen used against other creatures of the darkness. She had never before been put up against one. No matter how many times she killed him, he always came back before she could finish him for good. Unlike the Guardian, Naomi was not immortal, any injuries she suffered would not heal, and the Awoken found herself bleeding out. Several gunshots had hit her and a knife, causing her to retreat and hide among the fortress. The Light wielder had known she was coming, and the fact that they were the only ones in this damn place confirmed her suspicions. Was she set up? Why? Had Mara actually betrayed her? Was this... was this Uldren's doing? What had she done to earn this? All she had ever done was carry out her Queen's will, she had never once thought about betraying her. Had she become too dangerous to keep alive? Did she know too much? Dammit! Well, if this was to be how she died, then so be it. However, she was not about to lay down without a fight, after all, her target was still that Light wielder. She had never failed before and she was not about to fail now.

She could not best him by facing him head on, she was rapidly loosing blood and she needed to act fast... luckily, she had a ship. All she had to do was lure him there which seemed easy enough since he seemed just as determined to kill her as she was about him. It was a long and slow process, but the assassin had finally made it back to her ship, where she collapsed into the pilot seat. She had dark circles under her eyes, her blue skin pale and not as bright and lifelike. This was it for her, this was the end no matter what. It wasn't long before the Light wielder found her, she was not hard to track when she was bleeding out and dying. He stepped upon her ship, cocky, boldly, and taunted the assassin. Naomi shot him again, and he held out his hand to let that strange little bot heal him. However, little had he known just how dedicated Naomi actually was. Naomi had prepared herself for almost any possibility to guarantee she could never be compromised. She had an active self-destruct bomb aboard her ship for that 'just in case' moment. Naomi's final moments as a mortal were her laughing at the foolishness of how easily people still underestimated her, and she boldly stated; "In this game, Victory goes to me."

What followed next, was an explosion that not even a wielder of Light could survive.

Centuries later, an Awoken woman was awoken to the sound of a small robotic voice informing her she had been dead for a very long time, and now she was a Guardian. More importantly, his Guardian, and he was her Ghost. The Awoken questioned the Ghost and they sat for a long time, talking. Ghost answered her questions to the best of his ability, however, it was then that he suggested they go to The Last City where 'The Vanguard' could explain to her and she could join others in defending humanity. The new light refused, and she would stand as she looked herself over, then at her surroundings. She had no memory of who she was, thus the process of being brought back to life, she did not even know her own name. She wanted to fix that. The only lead she had was the small tattoo upon the back of her left hand, a strange hexagon with a smaller symbol in the center of it and she asked the Ghost, who explained that was the symbol of a mysterious people known as the the Awoken who were stationed on the Reef. She was an Awoken. Surely that place had answers then.

The pair spent two months upon Earth, learning more about one another, honing their skills together, and how to care for one another. The newfound hunter learned to wield her Light and the powers that came with it. Rather than joining the other Guardians, she avoided and observed them from afar, never getting close enough to be detected and never far enough to be out of reach. During the two months of her time on Earth, the Guardian had learned how she died. Based upon where she was revived, she had come to pass in a ship explosion. How it had come to explode though, was still unknown. Ghost had told her it was not from a crash, signs pointed to it having been a bomb of sorts, but that left her with more questions than answers. She saw glimpses of her past life in those rare occasions of where she died. It became a habit to avoid dying. She disliked it, it felt so... unnatural. Almost wrong to die and come back. She was still determined to make it to the Reef, to find out more about herself and possibly why she had died in what appeared to be either a set up, or suicide.
Eventually, the duo did find a ship fit to fly, but it needed work to be able to handle breaking orbit. Thus, she set to scavenging old ship yards and repairing the ship for two weeks. Once it was fit to fly, they left immediately.

Upon landing in the Reef, the Hunter found what she was looking for, but it was far from comforting. It took mere moments before everything came rushing back. The looks of shock and confusion on the faces of her fellow awoken, everywhere she looked brought back memories and panic. It all became a blur as she would walk froward in a rush, her body reacting on it's own. Muscle memory perhaps? Flashes of black and white, a quickened heartbeat, an ache in the heart, a pounding headache, and sounds that sounded so foreign yet so familiar, it was an awful feeling. Yet, she forced herself through, ignoring the pleads of worry from her Little Light. Faster, further... Through that door there, there should be--
The Awoken Queen. Queen Mara. How did she know that? It was at that moment, Mara turned to look at the girl, and for once in her lifetime appeared to be rather surprised. "Naomi." Her soothing voice would ring. "It appears you have returned to me once more, reborn in the Light."
Naomi was brought to her knees, clutching her head as it had finally come to overwhelm her. The memories. Was this Mara's doing? Was it simply because of seeing her? Dare she even question her? The Guardian right then and there nearly crossed a line she would never be able to return from. So many questions arose from the Hunter, but the one that stuck out the most to her was, why? WHY?!
Naomi then lifted her head, anger and fear filled the Awoken alongside pain and sadness. They would remain in that damn throne room for three whole days, Naomi questioning her Queen, Uldren insisting they kill her right then and there. She knew too much. She was too dangerous to keep alive. She held the secrets of the Awoken people that they did not want in the hands of a Guardian. She had become a traitor. However, despite how easily they could have killed her in her confused and scared state... Mara would not allow her eager brother to kill Naomi, and she would not do it herself. Uldren had succeeded in getting her killed, she knew that, somehow, someway. She understood where his loyalties lied... and Mara adored her 'baby brother', she would humor him at times... that was enough for the Hunter to understand what her place was. She was a tool... but...
From the silence that fell... it arose the assumption that Naomi could once more belong to her Queen... however, Naomi would pull herself together. Proudly. Defiantly. She was no longer the 'Queen's Watch Dog'. She had died, left that life behind, one she could never return to. Mara and her would only exchange knowing glances, that same smile Naomi knew so well upon the lips of Mara. No words were exchanged, but Naomi left that room, not once looking back. That life, was one she would leave behind, forever. It was also this point in time that she decided she would no longer bow to anyone, no longer would she vow her life to another, her life was her own. It ignited a bright fire within that Guardian. One that would not be extinguished.

The Guardian and the Ghost would then make their way out of that place and the Guardian would come to a stop upon the ship docking section of the Reef, Naomi just staring out into the distance, watching the asteroids and bits of destroyed ships float so effortlessly in the distance. A long silence ensued them, until the Ghost surfaced out of the safety of his Guardian's 'backpack' and he looked to his friend with worry. He was about to speak before he was cut off right away by his Guardian; "Naomi." She started with a distant look in her eyes. "That is my name." She turned her head to look at her little friend. "It only be fair I give you one too... Azriel. My little savior. My little angel." The Ghost was caught off guard, he paused, seeming to process what she had just said to him before he shifted his shell and he let out a happy sounding little noise. That absolutely made everything worth it, how long it took him to find her and his entire existence, hearing those words from his Guardian. His Naomi.

Soon after, she would tell him she wished to go home now. Those words were full of sadness and he understood what that meant even with in his joyful mood at being given such an endearing name, he sympathized with his Guardian. This place was no longer home, this was not where she belonged. So, doing as his Guardian requested, he called in their ship and sent them back to Earth where Naomi finally went to The Last City and met with The Vanguard. There she met Cayde-6, Hunter Commander, Zavala, Titan Commander, and Ikora, Warlock Commander. Zavala set to getting her placed within their records.
