Roxanne Chamenos

Roxanne was born from the union between a human man and a female muse, her mom being one of those who told stories about heroes, made music and alike. It wasnt an unhears union in the past, but in a modern world the ancient greek beliefs wasnt a thing anymore. Even so, when Roxanne's mom got pregnant she travelled to olympus in hopes of getting allowed to stay with her unborn child and the love of her life. However, as so many before her had gotten told, the answer was no. Even if the religion was no longer relevant the old customes among the gods and alike were still needed in their eyes. Her mom spend a few more months with her lover before having to go back. Roxanne was born in olympus, but not allowed to stay, she was half human and thereby not one of them, but due to it having been so many years since a new child had been born with such blood in its veins, they was considering to allow Roxanne to at least stay. However her mom, Euterpe,s ex lover, the river god Strymon voted against it, and soon got more of the gods convinced. Roxanne had to leave her mothers side.

She was delievered to her father when she was less than 2 weeks old. But nothing could be done, and as the rules stated, afterwards they werent allow to talk again.

Roxanne slowly grew up, at first her father managed decently, but as the years went on and her mom indeed never came back, he soon grew bitter, blaming Roxanne for everything. He lost his job, began drinking and gambling whatever they had left away.

One day he had lost too much, more than he had, and he was executed in his home. Roxanne found him, clean shot to the head. However unaware of who to seek for help, and knowing they probably would come back to take what was left, she wasnt going to wait there, she ran, she was on her own.

She lived on the streets for months without a proper food source, she mostly went either dumbster diving or into peoples backyards if they had any type of food trees or other edibles growing. One day she ate from the wrong garden and got caught. It was a wealthy man with a shady business in the back. He told her to work it off, knowing he couldnt get anything else. Due to the time on the streets and the even dwinling source of food before then, she could very much be mistaken for a young boy, and she was.

At first she was to wash the floor or a banquet hall, only using a cloth and a bucket of water. Roxanne wanted to do her best, not only to survive this, but maybe even be lucky enough to get in his good favor.

Afterwards her works excalated, she soon found herself being a messenger, running through the streets with different types of letters. No one suspected her to be that, as she was always dressed poorly and never appeared anywhere close the customers, leaving the messenges to their secretaries and alike.

She grew up and had to hide her feminine shape more and more, knowing that if it was found out she might end up working for a pimp instead, and she rather run around or anything else than that.

However somewhere along the line a underground war broke out between her employer and another rich guy, ending in a big gun fight around the mansion. On the day Roxanne was there, it finally got to point they were breaking in to end it. Hiding in a cabinet in the corner she saw them execute the man, and taking other survivers aswell. Roxanne feared for her life. But then something happened, she was sucked out of the cabinet, light blurring what happened, but when she got her vision back she was in a park several blocks away. A woman standing before her, resembling Roxanne in a way.

Their meeting was short, but her mom gave her a gift, the violin, and awakening whatever powers may had been sleeping inside her. To give Roxanne a fair chance in life, as it clearly wasnt over.

After that Roxanne began learnin to play the violin and found she was surprisingly fast at learning and sometimes if she concentrated she could do stuff around her, eventually she learned to do it without the instrument aswell, but it was always stronger when using it.

After some time on the street she managed to get hired different places and working herself to a decent saving, enough to get a small appartment, and get food everyday. She stopped hiding her shape, even if she was still very boyish without everything she used.

Shes still scared that they know she was a part of it and will find her.

Silence Noise (15ft)
She can make everything go silent or just a single sound, but only in a 15 t radius, she can even make it seems like people are mute because the sound doesnt leave them.

Change Wind (10 ft)
She can change the wind around her in a small radius of 10ft, she can change the course and even lightly increase or decrease the speed, but she cant make a tornado out of a breeze.
Teleport
She can do an almost random teleport, she can try and imagine a place to go and it will take her either somewhere near or somewhere similar. However it cant teleport her more than a few miles.

Lullaby
She can play people to sleep, but it will be instant and they will be kept sleeping as long as she plays if she choose to activite the power.

Soundwave
When making music she can use the sounds to make more powerful soundwaves, not always louder sounds, but more powerful in the sense they can move a person or object a distant away from her, and it can end in being harmful.

Blasting Notes
She can make colorful orbs appear that represent the type of tone she is playing, and send them out to make a smaller blast, can still be dangerous, and it is usually fairly random, she can pick the general direction they go, but not the target they hit.
