  ➢ Early Years:

  Read.

  Azzaroth was born of the demon of suffering, Malithazzar and his succubus concubine-wife Chevriel. Preferring the company of his Mother, sister, and their ladies in waiting to his brothers, Azzaroth was deemed 'soft' in his youth. At the onset of puberty, the lad began to self-inflict wounds in private. This unfortunate habit did not stay private for long. The self-destructive behaviour was chalked up to poor breeding and the Lady Chevriel was banned from having further children.

  
  ➢ Coming of Age:

  Read.

  After years of infighting and fratricide, Azzaroth seemed no closer to becoming the heir to his household. Disappointed but still hungry for power, the Lady Chevriel tries to arrange for her son to become a concubine-husband to a prominent matriarch. The match distresses Azzaroth, who, against the will of his family, cuts his hair and enlists with an aviation division in his fiefdom's military. During this time, disturbing whispers start to circulate around Azzaroth's close relationship with his mother.

  
  ➢ The Rise and Fall:

  Read.

  A military career seems to suit Azzaroth well. He gains a fierce reputation for being a berserker in battle, dishing out more than he takes--though, disturbingly--seeming to enjoy when he is wounded in battle. Gradually he climbs through the ranks, showing a good head for strategy when not on the battlefield himself. He quickly makes the rank of Colonel, but after calling for an unauthorized strategic retreat from a skirmish with The Host he is demoted and quite literally stripped of his wings. The punishment is well publicized, humiliating, and sadistic to a point that even the masochistic demon fails to enjoy. He returns home in defeat, growing out his hair to cover the gruesome reminders of that day.

  
  ➢ The Second Coming:

  After a long period of silence and with seeds of vengeance planted deep, Azzaroth re-enlists with the military: this time with a ground-division. Starting from scratch but with the same propensity for violence and strategy, the devil climbs the ranks again, soon serving as a General on the Council of War--much to the ire of the same superiors who had demoted him so brutally before. He starts to recruit and reform 'lost causes' and 'hopeless cases,' drawing from prisoner and lesser-demon stock. He names the his legion, the 836th, the Legion of Second Chances. Secretly, he starts to amass an underground militia of lesser-demons, advocating destruction of the caste system to further civil equality. He starts to participate in charity work in the slums of Hell, using his family's affluent wealth to garner loyalty and praise from the general populous. With the confidence of his right-hand man, a reformed prisoner by the name of Blitzgard, the General plots to overthrow the Fallen Angel Prince of his fief and those responsible for his initial fall.
