Brief History
The only daughter of a Mu'ur chieftain in a village on the Cracked Plains of the Lost Veldt, Adilea grew up in a time of tribal warfare and famine. When most of the men were killed in a vicious battle between two other tribes, Adilea took control with the blessing of the village medicine man, who saw a vision of Adilea fighting alongside the sky-god, Tuma. Thus she was named the "rainmaker", a position normally only reserved for men. The remaining men rallied against her, but the medicine man said only Tuma could decide and thus the last men were sent out to retrieve chips of wood from Raffia trees. These chips were then masticated and the remaining juice mixed with clay. This combination was poured and smeared over Adilea's body. If Tuma bore witness, the rains would fall; and much to the dismay of the remaining men it did indeed, for the first time in months.
With more war brewing among the tribes, Adilea told her people it was time to move on and find a new land to call home. The village was disbanded and the 50 some-souls that made up her tribe began to travel across Africa to find a new home, with clean water, bountiful resources and no war. Unfortunately, the tribe was attacked by a group of slavers who possessed strange and frightening powers. With little in the way of warriors, Adilea's people were either killed or captured. She had been flung off a cliff during the battle and was presumed dead, but be it luck of the will of Tuma she had survived. Barely. Seeking shelter in a cave, Adilea tended to her wounds, set her broken bones and let herself heal; vowing revenge against those that took her people.
Adilea set out once again, but not to find a home. Instead she sought out those that took everything away from her. It would be during this point in her life that she met her companion; Nzuri. Along the Misty Shores of the Lost Veldt, the elephant woman was being attacked by poachers and Adilea came to her aid, quickly dispatching of the men. Nzuri thanked Adilea the only way her people knew how, through a life-debt; swearing to watch over the little civet for as long as she lived. Nzuri brought Adilea to her village and they would remain there for many months, Adilea learning of their ways including the fighting art of Dambe.
While the village and Nzuri's people were as close to paradise as one could get, revenge still weighed heavy on the heart of Adilea. One night she tried to sneak away in the night to continue her quest, but Nzuri wouldn't allow her to go alone. The elephant-woman was Adilea's sworn protector, and if the civet was going to leave; so would Nzuri. From that point on, they would travel the world, seeking what happened to Adilea's people while doing their best to not only survive, but uphold a code of warrior honor and do good where they could.
During their journey, they had passed through the Vastness and came upon a village taken over by the dead. These animated corpses had been animated by a shaman named The Blood Dog, using them as his own personal slaves. Seeking a way to destroy not only the undead but also The Blood Dog, Adilea and Nzuri sought out a witch doctor woman by the name of Mama Black. While she too wielded the black arts, her intentions were far from nefarious. Together with Mama Black's indentured servant, a former criminal turned undead named Match Eddy; the four of them defeated The Blood Dog and released the spirits of the undead; bringing new life to the lands. Mama Black joined with Adilea and Nzuri in their travels, providing mystical protection as well as healing.

Strength: Adilea is in peak physical shape, lean and muscular. Her entire life has been one of survival in a harsh climate where only the strong could survive.
Speed: Her preferred fighting form is Mu'ur Stick Fighting, a deadly and quick martial art that relies on lightning fast attacks. She can move in and out of striking range in the blink of an eye and relies on this speed instead of the use of armor.
Stamina: Adilea's homeland was one of famine, war and disease. She grew up in the harshest of environments, and ritual scarification. Her people pride themselves on their scars and how many they carry. Women perform scarification by slicing their skin with a razor blade after lifting it with a thorn. After the skin is sliced the piece of skin left over is left to eventually scar. It is a way of adapting these young children to their violent environment, and making them used to pain.
Weapon(s): Her Fighting Stick is crafted from wood that is flexible yet strong, when swung the end moves so quickly that it actually creates a loud snap, not unlike a whip. The stick ends in a sharpened point, enough to draw blood and cause massive scarring.
