Rainier Holtzer

Rainier Holtzer is not Rainier's real name. In fact, it's just the name of the body that he's presently in. When he first acquired it, it was pretty young, and it belonged to someone close to him.

Rainier tells a lot of stories about how he first obtained his abilities. Some days, he conned it out of a gullible god. Other days, an immortal took such pity on him as to spare his soul for an eternity. Or maybe he realized he could jump bodies years and years ago, on his own. Rainier is kind of a harmless liar, and ferreting the truth out of him can be a challenge of its own.

What's left of his original 'self' is entirely supernatural and no longer connected to anything physical. He doesn't know what he looks like outside of a host body, or how long he is able to exist in that form. Rainier doesn't leave a body until he has another one that he's prepared to enter. He hasn't left his current body in about 3 years.
Rainier has the ability to take on the form of anyone who gives him verbal permission to do so, the catch being that they give up that form themselves.

Rainier tries to be a smooth talker, and he is, but he's got a doofy sense of humor when it comes down to it. He's a good person to have on your side in a fight and tends to be pretty friendly, if cautious. He's been around the block a few times. Other supernatural folk might be able to tell that there's something 'off' about him as a human, but they'd have to have a keen eye to do it. He is, for all intents and purposes, currently only a human body with an old soul inside.

Rainier currently resides and takes care of the Riverside Galleries, a small art gallery on a strip by the river.
