Myles Rorce

Myles is relatively calm and measured individual at face value. Polite and honest in most cases and typically in good spirits, even going so far as to be jovial to all approaches, even ones that might seem hostile. This can make him seem insincere at times, but he truly does strive to be genuine and honest. Though he indeed has his secrets, and while he'd never admit it, part of his transparent way of conversing is to make it difficult to read just when he decides to obscure the truth.

As a whole he's outwardly confident and rare to step down challenges posed directly or otherwise. His confidence is kept in check only by his incorrigible ability to make a fool of himself. When something is or appears easily within his ability, he can't help but shed the shackles of thinking things through. As such, he's quietly haunted by the question whether his clumsiness is naturally occurring or self inflicted. Ever still, he's reliable and responsible when required, though humbling himself is often par for the course. Even still, he tends to take it all in stride. Though his manner in private is scarce seen as it his retreat to his quarters is so often made alone, with business associates, and the few so close to him.

Casual: Winter cometh at last! Sometimes wearing deep forest-y greens, or deeper blues, he usually wore something loose and flowing, or a dress shirt worn informally and unbuttoned to keep a low collar. Being colder months he finally felt free to allow himself to wear something with longer sleeves, though leaving ample space past the wrists rolling up the sleeves if he must. The three constant contents were always his favorite chef's knife, as many as 3 to 5 sketchbooks, and an organized selection of vials that contained medicine, herbs, and various other elements. From his waist down, he wore a simple pair of black pants, usually newer and kept especially clean, sometimes a leather band was strapped too his leg and secured a pouch or two hidden below the length of his tunic.

Working: To begin, he'd always carry his cream leather satchel slung over his shoulder, the contents naturally more in line with his work. Over his torso he wore a deep blue, short sleeved coat, gray furs lining the collar and inner lining. The garment is left unfastened, leaving the clothes beneath exposed. A white sleeveless tunic covers his chest his chest, low collar pulled together with crisscrossing thin dark leather strips. Over legs, he wore a sturdy black pair of travel pants, notably weathered, but the material and quality of the garment in question made obvious why despite wear, they were kept so long. At his biceps he wore dark leather bands, small knives sometimes strapped there for quick access in emergencies. A satchel or two would be rigged to his belt and strapped to his thighs. For equipment it always depended on the job, but he'd always keep his climbing pick with him. Another constant was on his left hand, where he'd wear a gauntlet with overlapping plates over the back of of the hand while sturdy leather made up the rest. For danger, he'd carry at least a pair of tomahawks. Finally, for a mixture of danger, travel, and hunting, it was fairly typical for him also to keep a shortbow slung across his back as well as a quiver with a full compliment of arrows. Depending on the danger, he'd also wear armor. All armor he wears is uniquely tight to form and light for metal, and quite ornate in appearance, with a thick lining of leather beneath the intricate plates. As much time, and probably more, was spent on aesthetic. It's durability and strength was unquestionable, although it sacrificed a fair deal of protection for mobility.

On more dangerous climbs, he'd sometimes wear leg armor. Such would be the most simple in shape, going over his trousers and primarily focused on protecting the front. For matters of combat a more complete set might be worn over the torso. The piece would cover from shoulders to toes. The ornate plates would go under his clothes and worn directly against fur and flesh, hidden beneath clothing. They interlocked in such a way to ideally deflect impacts than withstand any brute force, the tight to form nature designed so it can be worn almost like a second skin, offering a great deal of mobility. Myles was far from home, but when it came to armor, he would accept nothing less than what was tradition for his people.

It's somewhat self explanatory. Myles acquires things, at high risk. To whom? Put simply, potentially to everyone. The best jobs nobody is at risk but that's something for a perfect world he's yet to find. More often than not, (partly due to poor negotiating skills) Myles takes all the risk.

- Myles uses the title "High-Risk Resourcing Expert," as means to legitimize his work with a sense of professionalism whilst distancing himself from his history as a simple mercenary. He is conscious that some are aware of this history, and would insist his new title, as he typically will not take illegal jobs unless properly incentivized. Some would say the fact that he may consider being 'incentivized' an option at all is exactly the reason why Myles is in fact, a mercenary.
