HISTORY

Myrcella was originally born in London, and from the early ages, she was given up to an adoption service that differed from her sisters. The service, unknown to Ella's parents, worked in the trade of selling babies to high class families, both in England and even across America.
That was how Ella came to be a citizen of the New World; she was brought by a high ranked couple, but after a few months, they left her at an American church, finding the baby to be too difficult for their tastes. From then on, Ella, and her falsified papers were bounced around the foster care system, right up until the sweet age of eighteen.
Between her first and eighteenth birthday, Ella had been housed by twenty six families, and three orphanages; none were able to tolerate the child's energetic nature, and more than once the girl was physically reprimanded for her actions.
It was only when she was free of the foster care system that her other half, so to speak, was able to come to light - not that Ella understood. Instead, to get by, she worked up to three cash-in-hand jobs at a time, which varied from being a waitress to delivering paper-rounds, and never spent more than she needed to.
Now, she lives in a one-bedroom trailer with three others, struggling to get by.

ABILITIES

IMMORTALITY

Essentially, Ella does not age physically, though she is able to grow and mature mentally. Her appearance only differs if she alters her own looks (i.e: through hair styles). Both hair and nails continuously grow, and require maintenance. Because of her immortality, this feeds into the art of self-healing, which is rapidly and noticeably faster than any human could ever heal. Broken bones generally heal in three to four days, while everything else can take up to twenty four hours before full health is achieved.

ILLUSIONS

This ability gives Ella the skills to both visually and audiably alter the surroundings from a persons perception. She can will them to see whatever she wants to, and whoever she wants to; depending on the strength of her power at the time, it can seem to be anything from a hazy apparition, to appear to be absolute reality. This ability will increase if Ella ever becomes able to glamour others. Currently when in her human form, Ella is deceiving everyone who she crosses paths with into seeing her without her horn.

PURIFICATION

Ella can purify water of toxins and bacteria in order to make it drinkable; she can also clear food and drink of any poisons with the touch of her unicorn horn - also known as the alicorn or cornus. This skill is a weak one for Ella at the moment, the further she delves into the dark side of her powers.

HEALING

Ella's blood, like all unicorns, can be used to heal others. It can cause relief for things like a minor headache, up to the severest of injuries. If someone is dying, if enough is injected or transfused, it can even preserve the life and halt death in its tracks. Unicorn blood is extremely valuable, and usually hard to come by (when Ella isn't selling her own).

WEAKNESSES

IRON

Pure Iron will burn and maim Myrcella terribly. As she is a lower ranking unicorn, it can take anywhere from weeks to months for her to heal from the touch of Iron, depending on the severity and length of the contact. The purer the Iron, the more damage done to her. If ingested, it can disable or even kill her.
However she is able to tolerate elements that are composites of Iron, such as steel; she will have no visible reaction, but prolonged direct contact will cause nausea and headaches, and ingesting things such as steel would cause mild sickness.

ENVIROMENTAL LOSS

If Ella ever chooses to bond herself to one piece of land, the destruction of this land will have catastrophic results for her. It will result in all of Ella's abilities weakening to a point of disuse - her healing ability in particular will be greatly stunted. The only ability unaffected by this catastrophe would be her immortality.
As of yet, Ella has not bonded to any one place.

HORN

Removing her horn while in any form will, quite simply, kill Ella. There will be no healing or curing her after the removal of her horn - death usually occurs within minutes during these situations. This is considered the most painful way to kill a unicorn, though it is rumoured that removing a cornus from its owner will damage the soul and heart of the being wielding the weapon.
