  Any big bads to beat and maidens to save? I figure you'd be into that fairytale sort of madness. Always seemed like the knight type. At least that's how I remember you. All... weirdly nice.

  Where am I, you might possibly maybe ask? You'd never believe me. Never. Know that dude you picked a bone with? He was over the news sometimes. Don't know his face, but it was Maxmillion Hart right? Well, I'm working in the vet clinic of one Maximus Hart.
  
  Small world or total danger magnets on our parts? Who knows... I'm sure you weren't exactly moaning about shady folks finding you though. You never really told me too much (I can suspect there was something going on, but didn't ask. You didn't want me to ask.) but I had a hitch you kind of chased it instead. Got your head stuck in a lot of rabbit hole. And i don't mean that in a bad way. I think it was bad only for you. I mever asked about a lot of scars that I knew were fresh. My mistake really. But then, would you have told me? ...Anyway.
  
  Hope you found less shady hobbies. (Picked up knitting? It's great stress relief!) Hope you found better people. Better... friends. See, I had a hitch on that too. Phoenix can read people pretty well, so not so much me. I remember her being worried about you.. which is rare. So I can imagine what a wreck you were at times for her to think that.

  Oh yeah, i can't find your number or your address or even if you're alive, so I'm sending Phoenix's feather your way. (If you send something back use the feather.   You were cool. Always a bit too close to having an aneurism at people being dumb, but otherwise cool. Hope you remembered to breathe in and out sometimes, it helps with stress. Let other people handle things for you. Because they love you. And I'm sure they have some favors to return and would gladly do it.

  It's... small. Not a lot. But there's a vial in the letter. If you ever get hurt, it'll do what phoenix tears usually do. A little bit of it goes a long way. I hope it finds you. And I hope it helps.

I'm sending this over the goddamn Atlantic, man. Crazy.
