• At a Glance

  A mane of cayenne-bright hair halos down well past the curve of her hips, giving the illusion of a greater, more imposing height than the six and some inches she already rises to. Bright crystalline eyes stare out at you from a deceptively sweet, heart shaped face too perfect and carved to seem real. Simple adornments hug her slender body, pants or shortly hemmed skirts of some unknown silken fiber, slinking tops, billowy tunics with feminine cuts; every inch of her screams of an otherworldly, cold pedigree. One might call her attire a mix between fantastic, old human gypsy style meets the more modern chic that filters through the Realm. And not always, but more often than not, there's a wickedly large knife of beautiful, bleach-pale bone that's been known to dangle from her hip. Beware, sharp-toothed implements of a most sinister origin are no doubt hidden elsewhere on her person.
  
  Bits and baubles tend catch her eye; shining mirrors, reflective cuts of clinking glass and metals; like a magpie she collects them, forming romantic pieces which further frame and accentuate her already luxurious features. Though a most brilliant and elegantly sculpted band of mithril encircles her right wrist.
  
  Ears end in an elegant tri-tip, their edges more resembling feathers or fins depending on the eye to discern their shape. A slinking grace denotes some highly alluring type of lineage is present, and her appearance is that of a supple youth turning to the later years of their life. Beware the sharp tongue and eloquent speech that comes from between her wicked lips, but more so the sharp, pointed rows of teeth that play coy hiding games behind those beguiling tiers.
  
  She is most definitely a man eater, and has happily been so in more ways that one for many a year, but her appetites have since evolved into more visceral sorts than physical as of late.
  
  Happy as a variant, sociopathic, arrogantly absorbed creature can be, Anyanka is quite contentedly married. And should one ask the Mrs. of her Mr., she would simply say in her deep, watery tone...

• History

  Her race is not one of simple prettiness and rose petals, but one steeped in ruined flesh and sharp teeth. The siren are a vicious race, both in spirit and in body. Able to produce only females of their line, their culture is one that has evolved and split into to greater factions of evolution and practice; one is as black as the other is white, but make no mistake, not a single siren is inherently 'good'.
  
  Anyanka was born from an unfortunate coupling between a human and a siren, something quite looked down upon and often forbidden in either faction. Human seed is simply too weak, and the children that do manage to quicken and birth are often disfigured or malformed. Anya was no exception. Born without her sight and with the black cloud of a situation regarding her parentage, when the siren managed to return to her dead mother's nest, she was met with nothing but contempt and loathing from the rest. Their treatment was cruel beyond all measure, but as the years went by this did nothing but further hone Anya's resolve and sharpen her fragile personality into a thing more fierce-some than any of her 'sisters' could anticipate.
  
  When she was old enough, the Anya turned rogue, singing and eating her way across the countryside. The nest left her be, for fear of what other damage she could bring down upon them and their way of life. Hundreds of years later she returned, only to leave again, and with a deeper imprint left upon the nest's minds. She was a creature not to be trifled with, a force to think twice, even thrice about.
  
  Anyanka Faeraar was no longer a soul to be underestimated at any cost.
  
  But as time crawled on at it's immortal pace, Anya chanced upon a being quite unlike any other. One that changed her life for the better. Where she was once blind, now the siren possesses sight. Though strong, now her strength is finely honed and packing new tricks. And where once alone, the siren is never often seen too long without her soldier so sumptuously crafted of metal and flesh and magic. Her seraph lover, licit paramour, and dutiful husband; Victor Kazon.
