• Description

  The Stone Facade
  
  A statue of elegance, sculpted and chiseled to perfection. Her facial features are bland, smoothed over by a mask of stone as three precious green gems are inlaid in the place of eyes. Four spiral horns branch out from the head, all other details found lacking. A seam lines the jaw, allowing the maw to open and shut freely, two slender slivers tip the nose. A mantle of fur, uncovered by this suit of stone, falls down front and back tapering into a point and serves to keep her figure modest. Her hips, though wide, are bound in thick cloth of black and silver held in place by a thick chord of vines. Gemstones tip the fingers, precious claws which emerge from beneath the stony layer.
  
  Once Shattered
  
  A mask of wood obscures calm and gentle features which lay beneath, a serpent's toxic gaze, an eerie trio, gently aglow the only visible detail. Antennae are found lacking on the would-be kitterwing, her head is instead decorated with four slender spiral horns, gemstones well-kept and polished, of a beautiful deep green. Well maintained is a thick tuft that decorates the top and back of her head, obscuring the base of every horn. Her neck remains just barely visible as a thick mane of fur sprouts from collarbone and shoulders, a mass of black that tapers into a point at chest and lower back for a natural form of modesty. Gentle tone and pleasant curves shape her body in an attractive manner. Her ashen pelt is extraordinarily soft and warm to the touch. Six lengthy and beautiful gossamer petals of an inky black sprout from her back, swirling with luminous green energies. Ashen pelt remains visible from obscured shoulder to elbow before fading to a much darker black. Each hand fit with three fingers and a thumb all end in precious emerald claws that appear well maintained. Wide hips are clothed in thick cloth of black decorated with silver embroidery of runes long forgotten, belted in place quite firmly, covering the majority of a digitigrade structure. Her lower legs are wrapped in the same inky black fur as her arms, each foot ending in a cloven emerald hoof. Her tail is a wild mass that only darkens near the tip to match her limbs, a faint zigzag hardly visible might appear as a grin at the limb's end.
  
  Arms and Armor
  
  Quil is of a tribal descent, originating from an ancient stone temple hidden away from the world in a thick forest. She is an odd mix of tribal and cultured, this much is clear, as she often wears bone decorations in combination with fine or well-made fabrics for clothing. Bone decorations are often fit around her belt, wrists and ankles as well as a few along the mid or base of her tail where fur is somewhat less plush. Armor, when unable to attain her stoneform, comes in the form of wooden plates fixed to forearms, chest, and shins. Each is often decorated with bone and painted with crude symbols and claw-prints for war and battle. Accompanying her, even when armor is not, is always a rounded shield with leather bindings and a short spear bound in leather with a blade cut from some mysterious black stone. The weapon and shield are not overly weighty and have no other properties to them giving them a rather mundane feel.

• Precious Details

  Quil's form maintains a rather mundane appearance for the most part. Her increased weight comes not only from her height and muscle tone, but the addition of naturally growing gemstones and crystals. If natural it can be called. Most noticeable are her horns, though her claws, hooves and teeth also share in the precious material. Beyond her teeth, her horns, claws and hooves all require constant maintenance and meticulous care as they continuously grow at a quick pace.
  
  While some may think breaking her horns free from her head with a large hammer is a good idea, the damage done is soon undone by her mending ability. Damage, chips, and cracks all tend to vanish in a short amount of time. Though it is not impossible to break or remove the gemstone components, it may take some creativity to do so.
  
  Each broken piece of Quil contains a sliver of essence. This gives the large portions taken from her many different properties that may be shaped by those magically inclined. It will also weaken Quil for weeks, months, or years to come.
  
  Beyond the gems that grow from the pseudo-kitterwing woman, her mane is thick, soft and incredibly warm. It can easily be compared to the fur of a chinchilla. As such, her fur requires special maintenance and treatment. Quil detests water as her fur is incredibly difficult to dry out, giving fungus room to grow upon the woman's body if she does not manage to dry her fur thoroughly. Instead, she uses fine sand to clean herself. In addition, pests and parasites tend to suffocate in the thicker parts of her fur giving her a near flawless pelt, untouched by fleas, lice, and other harmful things. This gives her skin a soft and silky feel, if she is ever found furless.

• Occupation

  Quil is currently occupied with small tasks which her abilities and talents may allow her to accomplish.
  
  Such tasks include mending statues of stone or marble and fixing worn or damaged properties. On the side, she may serve as a vendor for medicinal herbs or poisonous ingredients depending on the customer. She may also be employed to treat the wounded or sick for a small price.
