Personality: Sam is good almost to a fault, with a strict moral code that he follows to a T in all cases. That said, he's hardly a dour individual, always ready with a smile and often a snarky quip if the situation calls for it. While a good soldier and more than ready to follow orders, no order or law will step in the way of his code, and he will vocally disagree if the situation calls for it. Open hearted, the main thing he wants to do in the world is help others, and right the wrongs that have been made.

Social Class: While he grew up with little in the way of money, through his distinguished military career and now his status as an Avenger, Sam has gotten more than enough income to live comfortably. He owns a home and car, and has enough disposable income for entertainment and travel, though in many cases the latter is handled by others due to circumstance. There is also enough money for him to send some back to his family to help provide for them and keep them afloat.

Clothing: Sam's wardrobe is generally stylish, with a mix of clothing from the utterly casual jeans and t-shirts, to dress shirts, jackets, and slacks. While he's hardly high-fashion, he knows well enough how to put together an outfit that matches, pick out clothing that fits his physique, and dress properly for a given occasion. He keeps his clothing tidy and well maintained, though he's not one to throw away something at the start of signs of wear, he's conscious enough of his appearance to not appear unkempt.

Accessories: Accessorizing is not particularly high on Sam's list of things to do outside of the bare necessities. He's always got a watch, generally a relatively inexpensive but durable digital piece, and he wears sunglasses when the weather calls for it. The only thing he wears that isn't entirely necessary is his dogtags from his time in the service, though there are actually three tags on the ball chain; both of his, and one recovered from his wingman Riley after he was killed in action.

Vices: Sam is not a man of vices. The only thing he indulges in that could be considered a vice is alcohol, but even then he largely only drinks socially, and very rarely to any form of excess. From the outside, the amount of food he consumes could be considered gluttonous for an average person, but to maintain his fitness level he actually requires the amount of calories he puts down.

Abilities: Sam is a heavily trained and physically fit martial combatant. While he is strong from being physically fit, his main focus is on supreme dexterity. Training with his wings and needing to be hyper conscious of subtle weight shifts to avoid unintentional, and to make intentional, course corrections while in the air have given him a phenomenal level of acrobatic skill. In the military he was trained in hand to hand combat, small arms, and automatic weaponry. He can hold his own with the former against heavily trained combatants and is a good marksman even without the assistance of his suit's visor, though with it he becomes one of the best in the world. While not the most book smart individual, and though he couldn't adequately explain things like 'bullet drop' in scientific terms, he has a remarkable tactical mind, and an inherent ability to use physics in his daily life.

Drawbacks: Sam's main drawback is that he is entirely human. No special supernatural blood, no granted superpowers, he's not a mutant. He's just an above average human soldier, but in a world of Gods and supersoldiers, he's almost unremarkable. At times, his competitive nature can get the best of him, and he doesn't take very well to losing. He fears his flaws being revealed, and has a strong desire to keep any mistakes he makes close to his heart, where others can't see. This can lead to them festering, especially when a perceived mistake isn't even his fault. With these combined, he has a notable inferiority complex, though as a flaw that's something he tries to hide, often behind bravado.

Mental Disorders: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In his time deployed, particularly the loss of his wingman, Riley, before his eyes, he developed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This lead to a period of disenfranchisement with the military life, and lead to him leaving the service. While his symptoms are well managed due to understanding of their causes and his time acting as a counselor for others suffering from the disorder, he is still able to be triggered. Generally these triggers will lead to a state of heightened anxiety, or a shakey depression. In the past, he has had deeper triggers to the point of delusion, but these have only happened a handful of times and it has been years since his last. Close to the loss of Riley, at his lowest points, he considered suicide, but never attempted it and has not had these thoughts for many years.

Likes: Flying, helping people, fighting for the good cause, competing, cooking, eating.

Dislikes: People who purposefully harm innocents, closed-minded individuals, seeing people suffer(especially self-induced), losing, substance abusers.
