Emmett is hardly very adventurous man who prefers to follow lead of others, he is wary person who doesn't take things often as a face value, this usually guarantee him a spot in some squads venturing out for a witch hunt. Emmett performs best in familiar area and streets rather than strange cities/towns or open terrain due his unwillingness to explore unknown places.
Emmett is persisten witch-hunter who will continue collect information and trail after his supposed prey as long as it takes to track them down, Emmett prefers to blame people of witchcraft only once he has proof of such matters, thus he strongly disapproves Abbey's ways condemn people from witchcraft/being witches sometimes seemingly arbitrarily.
On unknown terrains Emmett prefers to get his bearings first before doing anything else, if the area is hostile he tends to scout place for traps or enemies before moing forward, should he find himself in a new city he would like to have day or two just to walk around so he could familiarize himself with everything.
Emmett respects peoples personal belongings and things they don't like to share and pries into them only when he suspects heresy. He himself dislikes people going through his things or trying to dig deeper into his past, which especilly is off the topic.
He has odd relationship with The Outsider, the Void deity is no strange thing to him as his mother used to worship him. Emmett has never seen the creature but mostly fears and loathes him (and magic), but there is small lure that Emmett is always trying to avoid.

Nettie Down:
- Nettie Down worked as a whore but when Emmett was born she was forced to leave. She lived with her son on and off the streets, often paying their food and shelter either by selling herself or taking some odd jobs, or outright stealing. Sometimes she broke into abandoned apartments with her son, she presumably turned in witchcraft around 1816 and was captured and executed by The Abbey of The Everyman in 1820.

- Camilo is never, not even once mentioned by Emmett even if he knows the boy exist. He is the son of Emmett and the witch whose name he'd rather forget and born out of union Emmett wanted to nothing to do with. He doesn't blame the boy or hate him.
Camilo is Cearney Antoniou's ward and adopted son.

Joshua Arch:
- Joshua Arch is a minor noble from Dunwall. Joshua was never present in Emmett’s life but gave his mother some extra coin when he learned she was with a child, so she could feed herself and would not make herself a bother, as it would not be proper that people would learn he had sired an illegitimate son. Joshua never saw Nettie again or learned what happened to his third son and his mother.
