Hava'lera the Hushed

NAME: Hava'lera "The Hushed" Silseon'a
Hava'lera earned his nickname when he witnessed something so horrifying and/or life changing that it caused him to cut out his tongue in order to keep it a secret.

GENDER: Male
Hava has a good physique, but you'd be forgiven the mistake if you're seeing him from behind and assume he's female.

RACE: Valenar Elf
The Valenar are a race of desert dwelling Elves who have recently formed their own nation. The Valenar Elves are warlike, ruthless, proud and breed some of the best horses Eberron has ever seen. Because of the age of their nation, these Elves are weary of outsiders and any other kingdom, seeking neutrality for the sake of their existance.

Hava'lera is very proud of his heritage and joined the warband known as Storm's Raiders. Though it is multicultural, he respects everyone in there, even though he has a serious dislike for the beastfolk.

DEITY: Arawai
Arawai is the goddess of weather and fertility. Hava is not really a religious type, but he finds comfort in thinking there is a God out there that watches over him.

CLASS: Ranger, horse archer
Though a ranger might make a living as a hunter, a guide, or a tracker, a ranger’s true calling is to defend the outskirts of civilization from the ravages of monsters and humanoid hordes that press in from the wild.

This fierce independence makes them well suited to adventuring, since they are accustomed to life far from the comforts of a dry bed and warm water. Some rangers find the responsibility of protecting the rest of an adventuring party to be burdensome, but most quickly find that other adventurers who can carry their own weight in a fight against civilization’s foes are worth any extra burden. City-bred adventurers might not know how to feed themselves or find fresh water in the wild, but they make up for it in other ways. A ranger’s talents and abilities are honed with deadly focus on the grim task of protecting the borderlands.

Warriors of the wilderness, rangers specialize in hunting the monsters that threaten the edges of civilization—humanoid raiders, rampaging beasts and monstrosities, terrible giants, and even dragons. They learn to track their prey as a predator does, moving stealthily through the wilds and hiding themselves in brush and rubble. Rangers focus their combat training on techniques that are particularly useful against their specific favored foes. Thanks to their intimate familiarity with the wilds, rangers alsp acquire the ability to cast spells that harness nature’s power, much as a druid does. Their spells, like their combat abilities, focus on speed, stealth, and the hunt.

BUILD: Broad shouldered, slender
Most Elves have a naturally slender build. Despite his broad shoulders, Hava is the same, though he's very toned as well due to years of training. The Elf is quite tall, standing at 1 meter 94.

AGE: 176 years old
In Elven years he is considered to have settled into adulthood by now.

HAIR: Long, black
Hava'lera was never a fan of scissors. His hair tends to be long, yet taken care of. Like all Elves, Hava'lera is unable to grow a beard.

SKIN: Tanned
[As most Valenar Elves, their skin is dark and tanned, as is expected from a race who lives their life in the desert.

EYES: Blue
Quite uncommon among the Valenar Elves, Hava's eyes are very light in colour in contrast to his skin.

ALIGNMENT: Lawful neutral
Hava'lera follows the archaic laws of Valenar above all else. He will gladly complete any order given, no matter how cruel or immoral as long as it betters his country. In life outside of Valenar, he holds to the idea that honour is everything. An honourless craven might as well not exist in the eyes of their betters. Hava'lera cut out his tongue, which has given him much honour back home. Now outside of the desert's borders he seeks to uphold it.

PERSONALITY: Distant, loyal
Hava'lera can be mistaken for a cold, pragmatic man. This is not untrue as the silent warrior does not trust easily nor does he seem to care about people outside of his Warband. Those who manage to break through his hard exterior however will find that, well, he's still kind of an ass. But he's an ass who's willing to put his life on the line for the people he respects. He's a staunch ally, one who manages to find harmony in the midst of combat and stand by your side at all times, no matter the cost.
