Appearence: Cain has a very ragged and tired appearance. He is on the underweight side and his clothes often have small rips or nicks in them. His skin is somewhat pale, and he has somewhat thick maroon-colored hair, that goes to the middle of his neck. He has light blue eyes that seem to lack in terms of light or life being in them, in most circumstances. Additionally, Cain always has a strange device over his right arm. It looks like a robotic arm, but rather than replacing his arm, it lays over top of it. This device is known as a 'Snag Machine' which he uses to steal Pokemon.
Cain normally wears a black hoodie with a timer ball on the front and back of it. Then, depending on the weather, he'll either wear jeans or a pair of shorts. He has white and red shoes, and a pair of black gloves with red Pokeballs on the top of the hands. Though, the right glove is usually not visible due to the machine on his arm.

Personality: Cain is a very difficult person to pin down. He is often distant with people, and naturally distrusting. Even then, if one manages to get him to talk he hides his true feelings and personality under a deep wave of angst and sarcasm. He often acts like he doesn't care, and he tries to move on from people quickly if he has no reason to interact with them. Though, this is primarily due to his fear of people betraying him- he doesn't know who he can trust, and he has felt the sting of betrayal from people he cared about.

Deep down, Cain actually cares a lot about people. He'll go out of his way to help people who are in trouble. He also often goes out of his way to do things for others, though, he usually attempts to do so without anyone knowing it was him. He doesn't like recognition, especially when it might give people insight into how he actually feels.

Cain has a bit of an ego, especially when it comes to the people he dislikes or the enemies he faces. He also has some issues with regulating his emotions. He has been known to, at times, fly into severe episodes of emotion. This is especially heightened when dealing with Cipher.

Cain can also be seen as either very brave or very foolish, opting to go toe-to-toe with other Pokemon who are rampaging to help his team have the best chance at weakening them enough for capture. Similar to ancient tales of how early trainers would go against wild pokemon alongside their trusted companions.

Cain purposely catches the Pokemon he intends to keep in different balls from one another, wanting each to have their own unique 'homes' and for them to feel special.

Snag Machine
A special machine that rests on Cain's right arm. Allows Cain to steal Pokemon from other people.

P★DA
A special device that Cain uses to keep track of important information. It has a built-in Pokedex, a list of Shadow Pokemon he has captured, and how many he has seen, a map, an e-mail/messaging service, video and voice calls, and also keeps track of his money and other assets. He can also use it to help him infiltrate computers.

Time Flute
A special flute that can summon the mythical Pokemon Celebi. Celebi can help Cain purify Pokemon- which is vital, as both the Relic Stone and the Pokemon Purification Chamber are inaccessible to Cain at this time- this is his only way to purify Pokemon currently. Celebi is not a Pokemon Cain has captured- it does not assist in battling, only with his mission to purify Pokemon.

Key Stone
Stolen from a Cipher lab. Despite their various experiments, Shadow Pokemon proved incompatible with Mega Evolution. Cain's Key Stone is installed into his Snag Machine- on the top of the palm section.
