Runes are scrawled across the front and back of the book, a pulsating glow about them... almost as if... they were breathing. However, they seem harmless enough as curiosity gets the best of you and you reach out to touch the leather cover.

An inkwell and a quill lay close to the book. It is almost... inviting. Almost as if the book is beckoning you to write within its pages.
