  pookin prefers not to talk much about her history, as it is fairly uninteresting. she comes from a wealthy family that encouraged her to pursue a career as a lawyer. she rejected the idea, hoping to become a travelling artist. this, of course, landed her years in debt to a phony art school and making her living by travelling town to town performing odd jobs. she meets friends in each town, usually, who might offer her a shower or couch to sleep on for the night, but she never stays long. she is very frugal because of her mounting debts, and often resorts to stealing or begging to get food on her table-er, van bed.
