Mikhail Nikolaevich Annenkov was born to Yekaterina "Katya" Annenkova and Nikolai Annenkov along side his twin sister, Aleksandra. Born the the "it couple" of Katya and Nikolai, Mikhail never lacked anything during his childhood, neither when it came to the more material things in life nor the love of his parents. Though they both travelled a lot, he could never have asked for better or more loving parents. His father, a skilled neurosurgeon, always made him strive for the highest, while his mother, the most compassionate woman he ever knew, made sure he would not be blinded by the world they grew up in. When they were away, he would always have Sasha by his side, so life was never boring. Just like his parents and twin, he was always the centre of attention, captivating the crowds with his smile and charming demeanour, making the twins automatically popular throughout school. They would never be seen apart. Already at a young age, the more natural talents of his parents manifested in him, as he would easily take the leading role in and outside of class - of course always supported by his beloved twin - and he was promised a bright future. Even if he was popular with a large group of people hanging out with him and his sister, he mostly preferred the time spent alone with his sister. Socialising might be a natural thing for him, but in many was it just seemed more fitting for them to be together; already before he knew, he seemed different than the rest.
Just like his twin sister, Mikhail showed his first signs of his mutation. Though he spent most of his time with Sasha even back then, he would sometimes play with the other boys, where suddenly his mutation would show up uncontrollably. It was only met with awe between his friends, especially his best friend Matthew would from that time call him "Superman", because he could easily outrun anyone of them - not only outrun them, but almost disappear because of his speed. He did not think much of it at first, but when he told his parents, it was clear what it meant. Luckily for both of the twins, their parents decided to keep them in school even with their powers slowly manifesting, they just needed to learn to control it. Mikhail's close friends knew how to keep a secret and would never again tell about the tag-champion Mikhail. In the beginning, he would simply not challenge fate. No running at all, and when the superhuman strength started to show too, he had to be even more careful. Those very physical powers were hard for a young boy to control, as he could not even pick simple items up without breaking them, but he learnt to deal with it the hard way. Sometimes he would be jealous of his sister, since he thought it was easier for her to hide her abilities, but he would shortly after learn of her hardships and afterwards feel any kind of jealousy towards her. He would come to learn that he since an even younger age had had enhanced senses, something he had not ever thought much about - it just seemed like people could not hear, see, or taste the same things than anyone else, but again he would find it that it was so much more than that. The same goes for his self-healing; again he just thought that it was natural that he never got any bruises when he fell, but his parents showed him otherwise. With training he learnt to control the physical mutations, as physical training simply made it more manageable, but it also just made him even more popular. He was already good-looking, but puberty and weightlifting only helped.
Life had in general always been good to him: Born into a good family, he always had the support and love from his parents and twin sister; he was naturally popular, and when he finally learnt to slightly control his powers, he could not help but feel on top of the world, but only at the age of 11 it came crashing down. The news of the death of Katya and Nikolai crushed Mikhail. The fact that they inherited a small amount of almost seven billion dollars meant nothing to him. Never before had he experienced any kind of sorrow, and suddenly this great void had ripped open in his chest. Just like his sister, this ended up with him dropping out of high school at the age of 15 only to return some 12 years later to Gotham, reuniting with his twin, whom he had missed so dearly the last decade. All kinds of rumours about these 12 years are going around, but the most likely one is that he was in Russia - but exactly what he was doing there is still very much a mystery. If asked, he elegantly brushes it off, so even if the press and people are still very much curious, it does not seem like he will ever tell about it.
Now back in Gotham, he is a successful businessman - he has taken on those leader skills that he showed when he was younger and are using them on a daily basis. As a co-owner of Musgrave Corporation with his sister, he has quite a busy day on a normal basis, but his face is also widely known all over Gotham City, as he frequently attends all kinds of receptions and events around the city. To the outside he seems like he is simply following the path of his parents, becoming a jet setter with his sister at his side, charming his way through everything, though also being one hell of a business man even with his slightly failed education, but that is merely a very great disguise that he maintains very well.

Mikhail is a charming man, who always knows what to say and do, a true gentleman. He seems to fit in wherever he goes, he simply has this aura and shine to him that draws people to him. He is flirty in the good, natural way - not too much, not too little - but also knows the difference between business and pleasure. He rarely steps over the line; he grew up in the spotlight and knows his way around people, so he is familiar with all sorts of tricks, so it is easy for him to avoid them.
He is highly capable and you can always come to him, even though he might be a bit intimidating at first simply because of the confidence that oozes from him. It is very clear that he's the boss, and he is used to having to take quick, important descisions without much thinking. He was simply born to do what he does, there's no doubt. Not only is he a strong leader and boss, he has a strong will and always ready to take on a task, even carrying it if necessary; because he knows that he is capable of doing so. Life has given him a lot of resistance, but somehow he has always managed to come out on top, so he is confident in himself, but not arrogant. He knows his own limits, even if it might seem like he has none of those to others. In general, he is very well aware of his own capabilities and he does not take it for granted. He knows that he's good looking, smart, and alluring, and it is something that he uses again and again - being for both business and pleasure.
Mikhail cares a lot for his closest friends, but especially his family, what's left of it. He would throw everything out of his hands, just to help them in any way possible, even if it's morally wrong. Normally, he is a very morally right person, and some of the worst things he knows is being deceived or lied to, especially if this is done by people he truly trusts. It is not necessarily easy to gain his trust, but once you have it, he will prioritise you highly, even though his sister, Sasha, is the person most precious to him and always will be. Though he trusts others, Sasha is the one he truly, deeply trusts and he knows that she of all people would never turn her back to him, just like he would never do so to her. Family is in general one of the most important things to him, something he really learnt after he felt what it is like to lose everything.
Though Mikhail is a strong individual, he has a hard time opening up to people. It might be smaller things, delegating things, talking about his mood, but especially opening up about himself, his feelings, his past, and his parents. You might be able to get a few words, the latter is especially something he was forced into talking about because of his parents' status, but otherwise he has no interest in sharing this with other than maybe his sister. This is probably his biggest flaw and weakness; when something major happens, he has a tendency to not want to talk about it, buckling it up inside for it to eat him from within. He carries a lot of baggage, simply because he sees himself strong enough to carry it just like he would normally do at work or in other situations, but he never really learns. He might be a bit too proud, but in the end it harms him way more than any physical pain would ever do. He just needs the right person to open up to, but it takes a lot to trust someone this much, even for someone like him. -

With his abilities, Mikhail is the perfect tank and leader of Justice Society. Not only because of his strength and speed, but his enhanced senses put him two steps ahead in battle, and even if he should get hit, his body will mend itself, preparing him once again for battle. Though hard to control, especially when he was younger, he is now not only able to control them, but to use his abilities to almost their full capacity. He maintains his physical powers regularly by exercising and always staying at the top of his game, even if he will always be unnaturally strong and fast.
ENHANCED SENSES
Mikhail can pick up every single sound and decipher layer upon layer of any kind of noise. He has the ability to pick up a conversation from a mile away in a busy city, both benefiting him on the battlefield as well at the office - nothing passes him, and his colleagues, friends, and employees have learnt this, many the hard way. Too much noise can be harmful to him though. He can detect specific smells and locate their origin. Not only can he tell if someone is lying, afraid, or happy by their smell and the hormones, which they excrete, and recognise people simply by their natural smell and locate them based on this, but he cannot stand such things like bad body odour or cigarettes. His enhanced taste makes him able to detect poisons or other problems in that sense. This also makes him a rather picky eater. A handshake is much more than a handshake to him: He can read people by the hand, the touch of a page is like reading it, just by feeling the bumps of the printed letters. He is not more sensitive to pain because of this, since this is cancelled by his super strength, but what might seem like a breeze to others, is much more to him. He can read waves, even feel distant occurrences through vibrations in the air, ground, and water. He can feel people coming long before they arrive. He can see with amazing clarity and sense every little detail, distance, or colour. He can see in the dark without any troubles, as he is able to detect different spectrum of light as well as the absence of it. He can sense if objects or people are moving specifically in his direction if it has a certain speed and direct line of movement towards him. He can sense danger even before it hits him because of his enhanced senses, giving him what most people would call a sixth sense. It doesn't have to be immediate danger, but also just by looking or touching different people.
SUPER STRENGTH AND SPEED
Mikhail can lift objects that normally would be considered to heavy or unliftable for normal humans. Carrying humans is a rather easy task for him. Likewise, han can crush such objects with little to no trouble. He can withstand immense force against his own body, making himself a human shield more or less. He is also more used to this and he can endure quite a lot. It takes a lot for him to actually feel pain, but he is not immune. He can leap extremely far simply because of the strength in his legs and upper body. He can keep activity going for hours, it being exercise, fighting, or simply staying awake. He can control the use of his power; he does not have to crush everything simply by touch, and he does not have to hit a target with his highest amount of strength. If focused, he can send out shock waves through the ground or air simply by stomping og clapping. He can move extremely fast, fast enough to seem invisible while moving, though the speed itself can strain him a lot, if he goes too quickLY. He is in complete control of his body, both its strength and speed.
SELF-HEALING
Mikhail's body heals itself automatically. He does not need to focus on it, the body does all the work itself. This happens within seconds. It does not cancel pain, but no scars will be left, even if he bleeds or feels the pain beforehand. The pains leaves rather quickly though as the wound shuts depending on the injury. It applied consistently, he will of course feel it. If the wound is excessive or very serious, his body might have to work on it more than usual, taking more time; but if there is no other stress applied to his body, it might be able to heal within a minute, even seconds like normally. Loss of body parts might even be able to regrow if given the time. Smaller body parts such as fingers, toes, facial features such as ears, nose and eyes, might even regrow quicker than expected. The loss of his primary sense outlets might leave some other damage beyond his self-healing - the mere feeling of not being able to see for example. If consistently applied, his body might not be able to follow up as quickly. Though it is mainly physical wounds, mental wounds might also be healed, but not as fast, and it is not foolproof. This also applies to illnesses, diseases, poisons, broken bones, and low vitality. He also ages slower and the self-healing expands his life span excessively compared to that of a normal human. It only applies to himself; he cannot extend his healing to others and his abilities will not be able to evolve in this direction.
