  Maria Kynz - Sin's biological mother, human. She stands rather tall for the average woman, at about 5'11. With platinum blonde hair and striking blue eyes, she is the envy of many in her village. Coveted by men all around, she is too vain to settle down for just one. She is unaware that Sin is still alive, though likely to recognize him were she to see him.
  Meerak - Sin's biological father, a full blooded demon. Classified as an arch member of the Chaos category. It isn't uncommon that he reveals himself to mortals, often tricking them into making decisions that end their lives, or result in tragedy. Bedding women is a past time of his, consensual or not, so it is likely Sin has half siblings he doesn't know about.
  Rodvir - A turncoat soldier, wanted dead for going AWOL on a small scale war. He found Sin as an infant, and took him in before the baby froze to death. Though not a good father figure, he served as Sin's mentor for nine years before dying of disease. Sin is quietly appreciative of the man's care, and respects him even in death.
  Edgar - Sin's best friend while at the Murkly Orphanage. Edgar came to check in on Sin once he had isolated himself. Unfortunately at the time, Sin was over the edge due to pain spreading to his brain. He brutally killed Edgar, ripping out his tongue while he tried to reassure Sin, and breaking his neck to stop the boy from screaming and hurting Sin's ears. He ate a few of Edgar's fingers in his frenzied state. It's one of the many things that keeps Sin from sleeping properly anymore
