The Silent Mansion

Erica was born into a middle class family, and she lived a normal life until her parents died. They were getting groceries one night, when they got into a car accident with a drunk driver. Erica was struck by grief for a day or two, but got her priorities straight and started to provide for herself and her sister, May, and hiding from the system because she didn't want her and May, who had health issues, to be separated. She was 12.

She started out with small jobs, enough that she and May could stay in a small hotel room and feed themselves, but soon realized it wasn't enough. She started searching for a better job.

Eventually Erica discovered that a vampire had been living in a mansion in her town and killing anyone who entered (This was a rumor and was false. May is the only person Christina has ever killed, and it was an accident). She figured if she could be the one to kill it, she might get media attention and money. She let May know where she was going, and to calm her, placed a fake flower in May's hair from a decoration in their hotel room..

Erica entered the mansion and fought Christina, but was defeated. To her surprise, she was invited in for a cup of tea. Confused, she accepted. Christina was very polite and offered Erica to join the community, and after some thought, Erica accepted. She didn't have time to go get May for a few days, and a communication error resulted in nobody going to get her for a few days.

Erica arrived back from shopping a few days later (She'd planned to pick up May after nobody got her, but she wasn't in their hotel room and she couldn't find her) to find that Christina had killed May, and that May had become a ghost. She was shocked and wracked with guilt, but forgave Christina after seeing her grieve, and due to the fact that May wasn't really gone.

Erica wears a green t-shirt, skinny jeans, and green hightops mostly. She wears black, square glasses. If she's cooking or cleaning, she'll wear an apron as well. She has neat, wavy blond hair and brown eyes.

As a side note, Erica is also kinda loyal to Christina, due to having gotten to know her and being used to serving her. There's still a bit of distrust thanks to Christina killing May. She also carries a single knife in her apron pocket for emergencies. In addition, she is also very good with most technology, and is a math whiz. She is wanted by the Pennsylvania Department Of Education due to her being truant for 4 years.
