• Biography

  Naivira was born in the year 262 and raised in Calpheon within the Rookery during a time of great strife. With the black death surging throughout the lands, as well as the war against Valencia, her parents were unsure of whether she would survive her young age. Four years after her birth, she had already lost her father when King Dahad Serric of Calpheon and his army were buried beneath the sands of Valencia. A year later, she lost her mother; when natural disasters struck the lands, and the savages moved in to attack cities and villages, her mother was taken from her, while Naivira was left for dead.
  
  When she was thirteen, in the year 275, all but Calpheon had established trade relations with Valencia, and because of this, war between Calpheon and Serendia broke out in order to obtain the superior quality Black Stone that was discovered in Serendian swamps. Naivira, because of the war, had to resort to theft in order to survive now that she was older. Others, due to the hard life of living in the slums of Calpheon, hadn't given handouts to her in years, but this gave her an advantage in the coming years: swiftness, and deft hands, for which she was well known within the slums for. Her ability to traverse tough terrain and scale buildings became sought after by one group in particular, though their name was unknown.
  
  She didn't join this group until the age of 15, in the year 277. The group was a small gathering of very, very skilled assassins, who were VERY well paid despite the way they lived to ensure they would never be found out. For the next year, she trained under one of the assassins and was taught their ways, learning the best ways to use a blade to kill instantaneously, how to use the cover of darkness to her advantage, and, most importantly, how to kill and get away with it. In the year 278, with the release of King Crucio de Mongart, the war between Calpheon and Serendia ended, and things began to look up. However, within the same year, King Cerric raises taxes to an extreme, and begins to amass an army which he marches out to the desert of Valencia in an attempt to conquer it once more. In the year 280, the group of assassins were contacted; they were sent an anonymous letter via a dead drop they often used, and were given a contract to assassinate King Cerric to end this madness.
  
  For the next year, they prepared, knowing full well the consequences of such an act. But with him at war in Valencia, it would take time to prepare. So when the time came, members of the group left to Valencia to assassinate their target. It was successful, but they were caught. The King was poisoned, though officially he was killed by an unknown disease, so the world never knew of his assassination. The members of the group that were caught killed themselves before any interrogation could be done, and with that the group disbanded. She spent the next two years building up connections and a name for herself, though she only took specific requests: only those with power who abuse those below them. They were the ones who would die by her hand.
  
  But now, in present time, she knew with the way things in Calpheon were going, she would need more help than just herself. So she joined a guild known as the Order of the Rose, hoping to build relations with them so that they may help her when she needs it.
