LIKES ▪ Orpheus is rather easy to please, stick a bottle of rum in his hand and he's happy. Though to be more precise he loves playing his violin, gold, fighting, alcohol, good food, good company, being on his ship and spinning yarns.
DISLIKES ▪ There's nothing Orpheus hates more than being grounded, if he's not on his ship or at least able to access it then he's not a happy camper. Other things he hates are dolphins, party poopers, dry heat, vegetables and disorganisation.
PERSONALITY ▪ Generally Orpheus is a fun loving Captain of the air and will be quite happy to take you on a tour of his rig. But sometimes his past catches up with him and he has been known to self harm and occasionally he can't control that inner Suesai in him so he is prone to fits of rage if things don't go right, add that to OCD and a severe need for everything to be 'ship shape' and you can guess the reason why his crew follow his rules to the letter. The rest of the time, though he's enjoying life to the full and wanting to see as much of the world and experience as much of it as he can.
HISTORY ▪ Orpheus mated young and even had a child back in the day, he was a devoted mate and father for the few precious years he had with them. He had a tendency to wander too far with them, wanting to show them that there was a world beyond the sea, this would be his downfall as hunters took his family from him. He was injured in the fight and taken with them in a seperate cage where he was forced to watch the rape and mutilation of them both, this causing an inner rage so powerful that it sparked his Blood Bending abilities. Killing those responsible he buried what was left of his mate and child, took the belongings from the bandits and never looked back. Closing off his heart to love and focussing his efforts on building his empire. Now a wealthy and successful smuggler he is king aboard his airship, out for a good time but sometimes his walls break and behind that suave smile is nothing but hurt.
BLOOD BENDING ▪ It can cause dizziness, blackouts, weak muscles and weaker physical movement. It does however take a toll on the body of the Suesai doing it-one that can drain them to the point of an overly weakened state. Sadly it was an ability not many could control it became taboo for the later generations to learn and use. Anyone free born that practiced this become exiled on spot 9/10
WATER MANIPULATION ▪ This manipulation does tend to change and grow stronger the older they get. Young Suesai under the age of fifty years usually will have a mild grade at this. Though this is not saying practice or uncanny natural talent is not there, because each Suesai is different. Heavy water manipulation such as tidal waves and whirlpools are things done typically by several Suesai at a time. 7/10
VENOM ▪ Common in males it is very rare to see in a female. The males bite holds a venomous output that can cause great illness if not death in warm to hot blooded beings. Though able to control this bite by will it is not uncommon to see males born into slavery to have their lower incisors removed
HEALING ▪ All Suesai are able to heal when engulfed in any form of water, whether fresh or salt, it takes a lot of strain and concentration to do this even for noble blood lines. As such it is not really practiced on those free born, as they rarely are exposed to other creatures beside their own kind.
