Acute Senses
Due to her supernatural and werewolf statuses, Bethel has heightened senses in both human and wolf forms. Hearing, sight, smell, and taste are all enhanced. She can identify another being as mortal or supernatural and have a vague idea of what they are, but nothing exact. Full Moon
Everything about the full moon affects Bethel. This includes her demeanor and the transformation itself. At the new moon, she is docile, getting more aggressive until the full moon. Transformation begins at sunset and lasts until sunrise. While she is fully aware of what happens when the wolf takes over, she has no control of it. |
Immunity
Already cursed with a disease of sorts, if one can call it that, Bethel in either form is unable to catch any other disease or illness. The antibodies of her werewolf genetics attack any offending sickness. This includes everything from the common cold to anything life threatening. Silver
While human, pure silver burns her flesh. Pure silver is the only thing other than fire that can penetrate the wolf's hide to injure it. If it is blessed by a priest or dipped in holy water, the pain is excruciating, dealing the most damage to the beast. It is possible with this increased silver to land a fatal blow. |
Reflexes
Even in her human state, Bethel has incredibly fast reflexes. It is also due to the heightened senses of a wolf. She is able to notice the tiny signs that a body gives off before it moves, by watching for slight muscle twitches. Fire
During her transformation, the wolf is terrified of fire. It is a basic animal instinct to flee from it, and the wolf is no different. Should she touch fire, her fur will be set ablaze. It will continue to burn until either death or extinguished by something such as submerging into a lake. |
Life Span
Weres usually have a much longer lifespan than mortal humans, even going as so far as to never aging again. While Bethel is unsure of how her aging will work, she knows that she hasn't aged a day in the last few years. Wolfsbane
Wolfsbane is extremely poisonous to the wolf, and as a human, Bethel is allergic to it. It is the only thing that she will have a remotely sickly reaction to. Ingestion in either form makes her extremely ill and weak, though it is not fatal. |
