• Abilities

  ★★★★☆ - Star Mapping The construct can shift the patterns on her skin at will, using her flesh like a living starmap. She can effectively show any part of the sky, from a bird's eye view of her current location, to the other end of the universe.
  ★★★☆☆ - Star Projection Anathi is able to project three-dimensional images of space from her hands. They vary in size and clarity, but are true to life.
  ★★★☆☆ - Star Guidance The construct can read the skies and find her way as easily as reading a map.
  ★☆☆☆☆ - Star Walker The reflection of starlight on water acts like a pathway for her; she can walk or run across it without hesitation, but should a cloud cover the light she's treading on, she'll fall into the water.
  ★★★☆☆ - Transformation Anathi can take the form of a feral, starlit doe, as well as a strange, fox-like creature.
  ★★★★★ - Regeneration The construct is incapable of permanent death, or so it seems. Even dismemberment can be recovered from, her body rebuilding itself within hours. She will not scar.
  ★★★★★ - Gem Growth The gem at her brow can shift in hue and clarity, and may sometimes emit light. It may be anything from a worthless quartz crystal, to any rare gemstone; the longer it lasts on her brow, the more rare a gem it becomes. Should it be removed, it will eventually grow back.
  ★★★★★ - Hearing Partially due to having four ears, partially from her unnatural creation, the construct is capable of hearing even a heartbeat from across the room. Whispers are rarely quiet enough to escape her detection.
  ★★★★★ - Night Vision Even perfect darkness can't shroud something from the softly glowing eyes; she'd be able to read in even the darkest of dungeons.
  ★☆☆☆☆ - Day Vision While she finds cloudy, overcast days acceptable her eyes are easily dazzled by bright light. The brighter the day, the more washed out and blurred everything appears to her, until it all melts into a painful tapestry of white and grey.

• Drawbacks

  • Light Strong artificial, magical, or fire light will begin to make her feel weak and tired, as well as burn her eyes. Too much light may effectively blind her for a short period of time.
  • Sunlight It is always too strong; while a momentary exposure will serve to charge her, more will leave her eyes dazzled, and possibly suffering from burns. Continued exposure will essentially overload her, and leave her blind until she can regenerate and expend excess energy.
  • Starbathing Unless she bathes in starlight every night, she will begin to weaken. She can survive for up to a week before she is left dull, weak, and confused. A few hours of exposure will revive her.
  • Clumsiness Despite her graceful form, her cloven hooves are not the most stable on slick, hard flooring.
  • Compulsive Liar Ana has trouble telling the truth, even when it will serve her best.
  • Anxiety Her status as an escaped slave has only added to her natural skittishness. She distrusts everyone, and loud voices, sudden movements, or simply looming figures can send her into a near-panic.
  • Kleptomania The doe steals things whenever she has the chance to. She very rarely steals anything of real value, her fingertips usually attracted to small, strange items that shouldn't be missed.
  • Stardust When her skin is uncovered, it seems to leave tiny trails of stardust with her every movement. It fades away after a moment, seeming like a trick of the light.
  • Magic Due to the nature of her creation, Ana is exceptionally sensitive to magic. Small, simple spells will affect her greatly; a gentle attempt to relax her may cause her to fall asleep. A mild suggestion of contentment may have her laughing with joy. A hint of fear could cause her mortal terror.
