Clesara Rendaxious

History

• Biography

  As a small child Clesara was always told that she was better then people and thus could treat them how she pleased, and that she should allow no one to talk back to her. She didn't understand until the age of ten when she saw her father jasper have a servant executed for something she didn't understand until much later (the man had tried to sneak food from the kitchens to feed his bastard son). She was horrified by this display and and locked her self in her room for almost a whole day. It was 5 years later and more horrific showings of power that she truly understood who her family were: tyrants, monsters, and murderers, and they were feared by most and hated by the rest.
  
  Also around this time that she was able to convince the house keeper into letting her enter the family library, there she found old texts speaking about old nature gods and in particular the goddess Eldath. The followers of Eldath preached that above all else peace was important. This became her light in the in the world around her. She began to quietly worship Eldath and pray for peace to befall the innocent towns folk living the the surrounding city.
  
  When after a few more years of a painful and monotonous life she decided that she must in some way try to help the people as her parents continued to spread their regime, holding the entire surrounding city in an iron grasp. She tried appealing to her mother Lexia as she seamed to care for Clesara more, with the hope of getting some tutor to train her to defend herself. This was instantly shut down as her mother would not allow her to enter the rough world of combat saying that the loyal servants and guards of house Rendaxious would be there to protect her. She decided that she would have to work out her own way of learning combat, she convinced her mother (after weeks of coercion) to allow her to travel around the city for a day. When she went out, with an escort of guards she began searching for any one who would be able to teach her, to do so she had to give her guards the slip which was not to changeling for her having always been naturally very quick. It was then that she saw the darker side of the city, the side that mindlessly hated anyone related to house Rendaxious. The young, pretty, and without her guards, defenseless daughter of the house was a target for the cruel and bitter thugs. She was cornered down a back street and savagely beaten and raped until her guards eventually found her and scared off the thugs, killing 3. 5 months later her father allowed the captain of guards to teach her basic self defense.
  
  After only a small amount of time trying to train her in the ways of martial combat the captain of the guards gave up, she was weak and couldn't use a sword for the life of her, but she was prodigiously fast and agile. Her parents were adamant about not allowing her to have a person not working for the house teaching her things they couldn't control, but with her access to the library she found scrolls displaying warriors wearing nothing but cloth robes and wielding small, dexterous, throwing knives, they were known as shadow path monks. She began to try to learn anything from the books about how to fight as a monk but without a teacher she couldn't make much headway. She decided that if she could find an exact teacher she might be able to convince her parents to find and bring this person to teach her. She was able to find someone but only after long hours of reading and researching, she found Kaldan Tethris one of the only known shadow monks. Bringing all of this knowledge to her parents and showing how her natural speed could help her with this path she was able to convince them to summon Kaldan.
  
  Kaldan was a human man with short scraggly black hair and a well kept beard. He had the air of caution that Clesara became used to as it came from all who enter the house. Kaldan was commanded to train her, he was not in any way compensated in any way, if he taught Clesara anything but what jasper told him to teach her he would be killed. He did begin to teach her, purely defense, as instructed, but he wouldn't speak much to her beyond normal teaching dialog. This continued until she at one point opened up to him about why she wanted to learn, this lead to him warming up to her greatly and beginning to actually teach her to fight in earnest, he gave her the first set of 6 specially sized knives he ever had. He taught her how to throw them,how to slash with them, he showed her how to dodge and how to utilize her natural ability to make her like a blur on the battlefield. He was beginning to teach her how to access her inner strength, how to harness her Ki when jasper found out that he'd been teaching her to fight. One morning when she went in to her training studio she found that Kaldan was missing and upon further inquiry she found that he had been executed by her father. This instilled a wrath in her the like she had never known before, she knew where Kaldan had hid his supply of extra knives, she took them and left house Rendaxious for ever.
  
  She no longer goes by the name Rendaxious and instead call's herself Clesara Tethris. She has chosen to make it her mission to over throw tyrants, protect the innocent and the helpless, and bring peace wherever she can.
