• Description

  This 16 year old lion anthro might have gone unnoticed within most crowds if he could only rely on his medium-framed build and teenage looks to show him as nothing more than average. Alas, this young male could only dream of such acceptance...forever fearing the day that one’s eyes looked a little too close. His short-sleeved, black t-shirt might have hung a bit too low with too snug of a fit while his dark-washed blue jeans rested a little high upon his hips, but perhaps that cold look in his yellowed gaze and the seemingly permanent tension upon his face would help divert the odd glance cast his way. Unfortunately, a distorted self-perception can lead to a dangerous kind of optimism, for he did not even hold a proper mane to dignify his sex.
  
  Physical Appearance
  Bryce has no mane and, despite his medium build, he is slightly underweight for his age. Though not lithe or gaunt or anything similar, an extra 10-15 lbs would only ensure that he looked a bit more average. As far as clothing, Bryce’s preferred attire is a black t-shirt, dark-washed blue jeans, and a pair of grey and white tennis shoes. Though the t-shirt is devoid of any form of insignia, Bryce’s yellow eyes and oddly abrasive but gentle expression give him an unique presence.
  
  Personality
  Bryce is as much introverted as he is extroverted. The male feline has been known to sport biker leathers with a broad smile on his face as he races up a dirt-bike track while he shows off for a crowd and, within that same day, has been seen sitting upon a peer at dusk writing short stories and poetry and looking out at the sunset as if he would rather be nowhere else in the world. Spontaneous, eager, determined, unrestrained, dangerous, empathetic, docile, and patient have all been used to describe young Bryce and, unlike with most teenagers, the word “angsty” has been left out of any description of him given by either his peers or adults. In fact, on the random occasion, he has been sought out for quite the significant advice-giving session for fellow peers and adults alike. As you might imagine, this tendency for balance and extremes has led Bryce to his own share of problems since he is willing to try almost anything once. Though the authorities have remained out of the picture for now, the young lion has came close to being caught a few times in his life while hanging around with “the wrong crowd”. Through all of Bryce’s virtues and flaws, however, the male does lack a sense of appropriate pessimism. It is this unique brand of reality that tends to lead the young Bryce towards a dangerous kind of optimism. He understands that life is not always easy, but no one ever told him that, at times, “do what is ‘good’” is not always an option.
