    Talia was born into a wealthy family. When Talia was 5, her Mother had died. At age 10, Talia's father was murdered in front of her by a man named Ren Liao. They burnt her home to the ground and would have gotten her too had she not ran away. Talia took refuge in the village of Riftport. A guard named Jack Mali took care of Talia, showing her how to fight and defend herself. When she was 16, Jack became ill. By her 17th birthday, Jack had passed and left Talia his armor as a final gift. Talia left Riftport and now wanders as a sword for hire.
