Notker is a fabricated creature, often employed as a swift and efficient means to carry messages, deliver items, and pass along orders. It frequently travels with a leather harness fashioned to comfortably carry anything ranging from simple letters to small books.
In addition to ferrying documents, Notker has also proven able to repeat concise instructions - despite no immediately observable mouth - right down to the delivery and cadence of the one issuing the order, though has demonstrated no other inclination towards spoken language - or indeed many other vocalizations at all aside from its directives - to date. The sole exception is that when nervous, it tends to repeat snatches of hurried, garbled, incoherent words only occasionally arranged into something halfway sensible, and speaking secrets around this creature is likely unwise.
