• Phoenix Legend

  Associated with the Sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. According to some sources, the phoenix dies in a show of flames and combustion, although there are other sources that claim that the legendary bird dies and simply decomposes before being born again.
  
  They are typically known as a red-gold feathered bird, much like an eagle in size and shape with the tail of a peacock's closed fan. Other colors are rare, such as blue, purple, and white. The rarer the color the more powerful the bird is; the more abilities it possesses and the more lives it has lived.
  
  One lifespan is usually between 500-1000 years though some have been known to reach up to 1400 years old before being reborn. When a phoenix is reborn it has no recollection of its past life, it only knows what it is and has to rediscover their abilities all over again. Many often take up journaling about past lives for their own records.
  
  They are powerful creatures that appear to be human and are extremely rare in existence and are believed to be mythical. Legend says that they have the power to incinerate anyone with a simple touch, turning their enemies to ash. These creatures are weak to iron and water. Decapitation of one they cannot resurrect from and if in their fire mimicry form and sprayed with water, they will die a permeant death; unable to be reborn.
