Name: Aila. Simply a name that withstood several centuries, not at all her true name.
Nicknames: While she has earned many names and titles over the ages, she claims none for herself. She harbors no overt distaste for such names but appears to care little for them in the same vein. Give her some more.
Age: Unknown. The knowledge of years as far as numbers go have become a casualty to time itself. Although it is by no means a good indication of the her true age, her form appears to be one reminiscent of young adulthood.
Species: Dragon. While there is certainly variety within the species and some dragons take pride in differentiating their kind from the next, she offers no such titles to distinguish her own.
Sex: Female
Forms: Her true form is that of a fully scaled and winged quadruped dragon, but through magic, she has taken the form of an anthropomorphic creature that has retained several features true of the form she was born to. That these features are still apparent is evidence of a flawed and even poorly executed glamour.
Height: 5’8” (173 cm). A statuesque and stately figure often emphasized by impeccable posture. She has a habit of rising onto her tiptoes when in pursuit, at which time her comportment might be described to be nothing short of predatory. While her long limbs give her good reach, she finds herself in a land of giants whose glamours or true forms otherwise are not so subdued as her own, rarely giving her the advantage.
Weight: 134 lbs (61 kg). A specimen of trim athleticism, capable and agile though packed carefully into a classically feminine shape with both wide shoulders and wide hips separated by a petite waist. Her chest is of modest size, though it might be considered small given that which is typical of women in Guildereim.
Eyes: Golden. They burn with the fiery glow of molten metal, a mesmerizing golden hue encircled by a ring of rich orange. Her eyes are round-shaped and relatively large and deep-set. If they are not striking for their color, they may be striking for their unusual pupils; while they dilate to become round, as they constrict, they narrow to vertical slits. They may compensate for both the excessive presence and near absence of light.
Hair: Golden Bronze. It is a sea of wild waves with the same subtle iridescent sheen seen in her scales. Her hair is frequently worn down, and her ears, elongated and pointed, often poke through the thick locks.
Skin: Bronze. Warm flesh is accented by scales hiding at her hair line and highlighting high cheekbones. The scales become more prominent over her shoulders and hips, though they appear less concentrated over her forearms and lower legs. These bronze scales hold an iridescence not unlike her hair, but as well as reflecting free light from without, they seem to hold some faint color of their own, a scattering of varied and soft blues and reds. Two golden horns curl back over her head from just beyond her hairline, two inches above each ear, coming to sharp points and thought to be nigh unbreakable though quite difficult to prove especially effective given the direction of their growth. At her best, she shows no remarkable scars, but with exhaustion or extreme distress, the marrings collected over the ages come through the glamour to display the true ugliness of a tortured hide long and repeatedly lacerated, stabbed, beaten, and otherwise mistreated.
Attire: Recently acquired by the Golden Tether and dressed in the standard garments afforded to the slaves of the establishment, the dragon is mostly exposed flesh, crimson silk hanging like a long loincloth from rings of pig iron painted gold that rest against her hips. A snug silken balconette of the same crimson color hugs her chest and features similar but smaller metallic and gold-painted rings for straps. She is kept barefoot and spared not even the cheapest of decorative baubles for jewelry except for a heavy iron collar.

Personality: A regal beast of unimaginable power made to bow to her lessers, generation after generation of this dragon’s previous captors sought to make her forget what she was so that she might be at last truly controlled, truly mastered. Her maltreatment has not driven out her proclivity for the vanity nor for power that her species is known for, yet it has caused great psychological harm insomuch that her understanding of her power no longer quite registers. She has certainly killed many a creature, a torturer, an innocent albeit curious figure who wandered too close to her cage and became a victim of a monster in chains, but where there have been opportunities to escape and to overthrow, the dragon has not seized the opportunity. Her old line of masters sought to harness her power through various methods of torture that ranged from barbaric and bloody to sensory deprivation. Exceptionally intelligent though she may be, she has been spared little in the way of sophisticated interaction or scientific exploration. She has been largely denied access to literature, though she harbors a great fondness for it. The intellectual within the monster has long been starved, and nowadays, the dragon may strike those she meets as a thoughtless predator. Although her predatory instincts may be unshakeable, her mind can certainly be cultivated, and she does seem to be responsive to such attempts. As it stands, she is arrogant yet shows reluctant obedience unless in a foul mood.

Fire: In a classic display of draconic destruction, she is capable of the expulsion of fire from her mouth which may manifest as a powerful torrent. There exists a particularly high resistance to the element of fire, but even the dragon is not immune to it and may be greatly harmed by it with prolonged exposure.
Flight: Swift flight over large distances is easily achievable by the winged monster. The ability to fly may have some magical element, but it is also clearly dependent on the physical; with extensive damage to the patagia or other parts of the wing, the dragon becomes unable to fly and thus bound to land or water.
Respiration: Amphibious, she is able to breathe on land and in water under most circumstances. The dragon has lungs to aid in respiratory efforts on land and is able to absorb oxygen from water to assist in breathing underwater, though the latter is not as efficient as breathing air. While different elements and chemicals may have their effect as she breathes them in, her lungs may withstand and are largely unaffected by smoke.
Shape: Although the beast is capable of assuming lesser forms, a seamless and most convincing execution of mimicry appears to be a difficult feat. Even while presenting in human form, there are such faults as subtly elongated ears as well as retaining various draconic features like horns and scattered scales. -
