  Things have been oddly hectic, though not without some relief in the end of it. Dralt returned from his vacation that went on for months longer than he told us, only to disband Ouroboros. I assume he's still hurting from the fact that people dared disagree with him and I've never felt less bothered by such an outcome, even when I worried I may one day be removed from the Clan because I didn't walk on eggshells properly around him. I'm sure he'll take his little circle and blame us for everything, even if his tyranny had a hand in this nonsense. When a leader starts treating his own as dirt that aren't allowed opinions that conflict with his, it's best for the group to leave and I'm glad he did that for us.
  
  Still, it left us wondering what to do and we did the most logical thing: we left Belsthame. It'd be better to find a home where we can be people and not have to hide behind illusions or masks for the sake of someone's personal agenda. He claimed we were there to help people, but I know we wouldn't do that. If we were, he wouldn't have Hodge sent away. He wouldn't have sent Liam away or taken my rank for helping a sick woman. I refuse to work for someone whose compassion is nothing more than a lie, when it can't be twisted to make him look good.
  
  Gibbit has found a place for us all to go, and we've gained a few more passengers on Miss Joan's ship. Gibbit's partner and those close to him, another couple and a good number of young orphans. I hope there's a place they can go where they'll be safe when we arrive, but they seem to be fitting in fine with the other children. Liam and Niiamh have joined me as well, and I'm glad to have them back. Niiamh hasn't interacted with people a lot, but I know she just needs time. We stopped at a place to resupply, and I took time to wander the surrounding area.
  
  On that note, I feel like this is a good stopping point here. Back to work and all that, it's nice to be able to contribute to a ship and not have to sit in the cabins while someone and their favorite handles everything. I'm learning a lot more from it than I ever did on Dralt's ship.

  The trip to Belsthame had been at first uneventful. There was a vicious storm, but everyone pulled through thanks to everyone's combined efforts and we were able to continue again. We visited Spain, too, I believe, but were only there long enough for Lord Dralt to speak to another noble house. Nonetheless, what I did get to see was nice, and I hope to see this Country more sometime in the future. Lord Dralt showed Maxie and I how to properly load and fire a cannon, though the sound was too much for me. Even with his distaste for deep water, Wight travelled well on the ship.
  
  It almost seemed like we'd get to this new land without an issue, but as it often happens, that changed. We were surrounded by mists and each of us were seperated from the other. Atleast...I think so, I've yet to ask anyone about their own experiences. I was approached by harpies of the Nightmare King who had threatened to eat me, so I decided I wasn't going to stand by and let it just happen. I'm so very tired of being hunted, harrassed, and mauled by creatures. I'm done with people assuming me some weak victim. I fought back, despite this nasty flock tearing into me, but after using my blood magic to control one, another grabbed and flew away with me.
  
  I killed him, though it was a move that should've waited. He died and we both dropped down to a forest, though even with my attempts to grab branches to keep me from hitting the ground, I failed. If it wasn't for what I am, I'm sure I'd be dead. The pain, though, isn't anything I'd soon forget. Cassius found me after I tried to flee, as all I heard was him flying towards me at first. He carried me to more of the group, who seemed relatively safe. Azilie was being chased, but got to us in the end. That was a relief, but soon after, the ground turned against us. With the combination of different abilities, we managed to defeat the creature that appeared.
  
  I don't remember much after, since the further use of my magic left me unconcious. I woke up in the air, fed with Joan's blood. It kept me awake enough to assist at the Lighthouse and Tamasa managed to deal the final blow on the Nightmare King's terrifying form. I had hoped this would be the end of it, but that was another wish snuffed out. Lady Tamasa died, I suppose, in a way, but ascended moreso. Still, I feel with everything that's happened, that Lord Dralt didn't need this added pain. I know all too well how much it hurts, but I hope with where she is now that he can still see her in dreams.
  
  With this creature defeated, we were able to get our loved ones from Dralt's manor, but a whole four months had gone by there. I don't like how much time goes by outside this Veil, but I was relieved. Wyn is a little older, and speaking. Gibbit has grown much taller, it was a bit of an unanticipated change!
  
  However, now that we're here in Belsthame and I'm learning about the Aelulists, I worry further. I was told once that Ouroboros is not a charity and despite that I intended to do good, I was demoted partly because I wanted to give a sick woman food with my own money. I didn't realize she was so ill, and I never went into her home to even risk the chance of this illness being spread, but I wonder....what if I stick to this mission and help someone that gets me in further trouble? Should I even bother? I would feel much safer sticking to the people that I was told need my focus; Ouroboros. But if I refuse to assist anyone outside the Clan, would I be in trouble for that?
  
  I don't know what to do. I don't even know if there's any chance of me ever getting my rank back, even if I put more work into keeping my Clan and My Lord informed, if it was taken from me because I showed compassion to someone who needed food. While I know Lord Dralt was angry about Liam, he never blamed it on me until that day. Maybe I'll just keep my head down and work alongside Arron, until I get some instructions here. I've contacted Liam recently, and he's currently traveling with one of my 'family'. She was turned alongside me in England and I admit, I'm a little surprised. Niiamh has never cared for him, but I'm glad she's around again, I hope to get them to Belsthame as soon as I can. I miss her.
  
  I tried to talk to Azilie about it, atleast my concerns about the Nocti-hunting humans, but she just took it as fear. I'm not afraid of them, why would I be with my capabilities? I just don't trust them, and my trust in people has backfired on me more than once. I'll be honest, if I was a much more terrible person, I would point out they should be afraid of me. I can withstand what they can't, I can control their blood and turn it against them. They may have their fire, but it means little if they can't use it. I probably shouldn't feel this way...think this way, but it's all I can after being told I shouldn't 'live in fear'.
  
  Gibbit has left for the Earth Realm, too, and I can tell Wyn misses him. The upside is that he gets to play with Evren's triplets more lately, and Arron or Caithe watch him during the day when I can't. Even if he hasn't been given a more human look yet, he seems to be fine around the park or beaches. No one bothers him much, perhaps because of his age. I'm starting to enjoy little things about this City, despite my distrust of the humans. The boat-rides are nice, and the Undercroft is lovely. I've gotten a house there and it's been nice, quiet. It feels odd to not live with a roommate, but it's a freedom I feel I've waited too long for.
  
  The other night, though, Lord Dralt invited us to a dinner and let us know he and his family are leaving the Veil for two months, but it could be a lot longer for him when it comes to how time works out there. Cassius and I were immediately concerned about this, though he was more vocal than I. It wasn't taken very well, and insults were allowed to be flung our way. Cassius was talked down at, and Azilie saw it fit to call us childish for it. We should have every right to our thoughts and opinions as they are, even if it isn't completely in favour with Dralt. Part of me feels bad that maybe we should've waited until we spoke to him privately, but.
  
  Carrera said we're not sheep and absolutely, we're not. But, it begs the questions; why are we childish for having a conflicting opinion? Why are Azilie and Nara allowed to be insulting? I don't want to think it was because they were in favour of Dralt, but he could've atleast said something to them right then and there instead of just us. I don't know what Lord Dralt sees me as, but he and Cenedril are like family to me. I feel it's not the same on his end, but now I worry. Am I actually more than information? Will this be a common trend if I disagree? Has this left me on his bad side for good?
  
  We had spoken after, and he seemed apathetic regarding the risk something might happen to him or his own. He was willing to take the risk of never coming back, just for a vacation, and to just assume something's happened if they don't return in two months. I don't know if I can stomach that. I didn't argue with him about it, Gods above know he had enough stress that night, but now all I can do is worry. I wish there was more I could do to ensure they'd be alright out there outside the Veil.
  
  I feel like I might talk to Evren about this, it might help.

  Liam is gone.
  
  A disaster of events happened after Lord Dralt had requested Azilie and I go to the church to deal with a straggler, though we found no one there. What we did find was a spirit of one of the Dralt ancestors. Lord Dralt had mentioned a bit of the past surrounding the church, though there wasn't much to go on. Unfortunately, this 'Haven' took Lord Dralt away through the use of his tattoo and back to his time. Immediatly, we held a meeting and people decided whether to go or to stay. I opted to stay, to protect the Manor in their absence, and requested Liam go in my place. This turned out to be a mistake.
  
  I don't know all of what happened, but I know enough. After I had spoken to Arron about the necromancer that was captured and to get the punishments she deserved, I had decided to keep to my patrols around the manor. I should've talked to Liam, perhaps, but I didn't think he would need anything other than rest. Everyone looked in poor shape, so I didn't want to be an issue. Lord Dralt looked exhausted, though the entire lot of them did, and Miss Evren has lost an eye.
  
  The day after, Lord Dralt requested both Liam and I to the parlor. I was confused at first, but it was soon made clear. Liam had killed a young fae in cold blood and when he was confronted, he couldn't care less. It was as if this wasn't a murder to him, a black spot on his reputation, simply another day and Lord Dralt wasn't worthy of any sliver of respect or anything. It made me feel terrible. I know this isn't how Liam is, and I don't think I'll ever understand why he'd justify his actions. Lord Dralt wanted him to leave the Manor, understandably, and when Liam had the chance to avoid making it worse, he ruined it. I had requested he be sent to Plymouth, but his attitude sealed a much different fate.
  
  I don't know how I feel about this. I wanted him nearby, because he is still my friend. I don't want to talk to Liam through a statue. I'm hoping Miss Evren will make it easy for me to visit him when I'm ready, though, that might still be some time. I don't think I can forgive him for this mindless butchering of a young girl or the lack of remorse or regret he showed towards us during the meeting. Still, I have ensured he'll be able to get himself a home and whatever else he may need whereever he goes, so he can find his own occupation to keep going. I only hope he'll learn from this, and become a better person. I've sent Scout with him, I feel like this would be better for him. Scout doesn't get to go outside as much as I would like, and I feel it's unfair to keep him cooped up in my room. For the time being, Lord Dralt let me use a room in the Manor until I feel better.
  
  Though, I don't know how long that'll take.
  
  Merik seems distressed again about Cassius, he mentioned he was right about what he warned and this concerns me. No one told me prior what happened, so I told Merik if he ever needs, he can come to me whenever he likes. I don't want to leave him alone at the tower if he's feeling paranoid, but I doubt he has much to worry about. He suggested I just take days to rest after everything that happened, but my mind just wanders over everything and makes it worse. I don't want to keep thinking about it.
  
  I've been keeping to my usual duties as a guard, but I helped Jaspur clear out a stall within the stables. We spoke about Liam, and how much what he did upset me. Cassius and I spoke a day after, and he told me about who he used to be. A 'Carneiros' he later called it. He told me he let everyone down at the Church, though I don't know the extent of it. Still, it's left me a little wary. I want to trust him, but after Liam betrayed my trust, it might be difficult. Lord Dralt had taken his wings, though, and he told me he swear fealty to him and the Clan.
  
  What angers me though is that both Jaspur and Cassius have told me I don't need a friend like Liam. Liam did do something terrible, I agree, but he is still my friend. This isn't like the case of Roland who pretended to be my friend, only to rob and have me beaten. Liam has been my friend for almost eight years, and he saved me from being a servant for the rest of my life. I owe him a lot. I don't feel Cassius has any right to say much, since he, too, betrayed so many people. I've kept these thoughts to myself, though. They tried cheering me up and while I've pretended it's helped, it really hasn't. I don't know how long it'll take for me to recover from this, but the malicious views have only made me feel worse.
  
  I wish I didn't send him. I wish he had proven he cares about more than hacking up people with a blade. I wish he wasn't gone. I just. I want everything back to normal. The egg I've been taking care of is still the same as ever, I'm hoping everything is alright with it atleast - I don't need something else going wrong.

  Things had been somewhat quiet and 'normal' around the Manor grounds. I've spoken at length with a few people I didn't know much about, mostly Carrera, Niv and Sayyida. Carrera told me a bit about her shipping company and her family, which both sound nice. Finding out she was a demon of sorts was curious, since she hardly came off what I've been told about them growing up, but people from my time were superstitious and malicious towards supernaturals, so I'm not surprised. She requested I bring her wife along on hunts, and I'm very eager to do so - I don't recall if I've ever met the woman at all. I'm sure Trinitera won't mind if I bring someone else along.
  
  Sayyida had been a difficult person to find, but I managed to get her to meet up with me in the garden. She's still having a hard time getting used to the changes, though I'm hoping it won't be much longer until everything is back to normal. We spoke a bit about her love for knitting, and she told me she'd make me something, though I told her I'd get the yarn for her. In return, I told her I'd paint something for her and Yaghral. She mentioned he likes to paint, too, so I want to talk to him about that eventually. I'm curious to find out what he likes to paint, and what sort of colors he prefers. Soon, I'm sure!
  
  A while ago, Onnushi had asked me to speak to Niv regarding 'Black Spires' and I had managed to finally catch up with him. He told me of a battle that he didn't recall the details of, though the whole thing seemed confusing to me as well. He mentioned not recalling anything happening, that he woke up to missing bodies and pillars protruding from the ground. What he told me of a 'Skotos', it sounded like they were from that creature. In the end, it was determined that it was possibly because of Onnushi that he forgot. I'm hoping he'll get the reason why out of the man, but I've not been able to find him.
  
  I have run into Hodge at Plymouth and his presence there makes me nervous, especially with how close he's getting to the local children. He doesn't exactly look normal, even with his second set of arms hidden. He seems to refuse to be sensible about being there. Children talk, people spread rumors; eventually, this is going to get him killed. There's also the risk of people wondering more about the Manor residents since he popped out of nowhere alongside some of us.
  
  We got into an argument, since he deemed himself worthy of judging Lord Dralt. It made me angry, especially with how dismissive he was towards the fact that Lord Dralt has been taking care of a lot of people. He doesn't need to help everyone in the world to prove he's a good person, that would be ridiculous. He called me selfish for not wanting to help someone, because he asked. I don't do that for people to make them feel better, I do it so that people can get by alright.
  
  He had told me she was sick, but I don't think I can do anything the doctors can't.
  
  Outside of this, I met another dragon on another island. She seemed rather nice, and in return for helping her with a few things now and then, she helped me obtain something. I'm eager to see it hatch, though I don't think it'd give me as much knowledge as the writings did.

  There's been a lot going on since we've all been at Dralt's Manor, though some people don't seem to be handling everything all that well. Cassius has been dealing with something internally, though I'm unsure as to how to help, so I had spoken to Lord Dralt for him in hopes our Clan Lord knows what to do. I've yet to speak to Cassius since, but I will be doing so soon to see how he's fairing. Merik is concerned, and I had taken his advice on the matter, though poorly at first. With my newest promotion within the Clan, I should've taken a bit more care about how to approach Merik's worries. Lord Dralt and I spoke about it, though he plans to speak to Merik to clear anything up fully. I told him about my past too, since I figure he should know given my recent promotion. It went better than I thought it would, despite what I had done to people before. What he said regarding it meant a lot to me, and I'll be forever grateful of it.
  
  Merik has given me a warning about the Night King, but I want to wait to speak to Lord Dralt and Lady Cenedril on the matter, as he told me of it days before their wedding. Still, I worry that waiting too long might come with issues, even if a lot of us are marked to protect us against the nightmares. There'd be other ways he could come after us, though, like with the harpies. We can probably handle those, though, we've done it before...even if at a bit of a price. I will keep an eye out, still, of course. It won't be difficult to pick up anything odd here.
  
  He has also told me of a place called Belsthame that was his home and where he has to go, though he said he won't be leaving right away. Still, I don't look forward to the day that he will. He told me he wanted to invite me along, but I know I can't just leave. Merik seems to think I'll go there someday, though I am curious to see what it's like. In return for showing him how to swordfight, he's been teaching me the sign language from his homelands. I've gotten him a sword, to go along with the golden dagger I had gifted him and a ring to keep in contact whenever he leaves. I hope, though, when he does, it won't be the last time I see him.
  
  Onnushi has shown up on the property as well, though he's been keeping to the swamps as far as I know, or Plymouth. We have spoken a couple times, I was rather eager for the opportunity to actually learn more about him. However, some of the answers left me with more questions, but I didn't want to keep asking him things. He had asked me of something personal, which resulted in him helping to change a big part of myself. I've never felt so content in my own body, no longer having to worry about people finding out things and treating me differently on account of it. My scars are gone, too, though he had remade a great deal of my body for this change. I'm not complaining, of course, but the changes are something I'm still getting quite used to.
  
  He told me Niv isn't feeling so well, and I told him I'd be sure to talk to him as soon as I can. I'll have to do that right away, as well as see if I can lure Sayyida out for a walk through the gardens to see how she's fairing. I've not seen Master Yaghral recently though, I'm hoping the two of them are alright.
  
  I've seen Azilie recently, too, and we talked a bit. She's been keeping to herself mostly, but I'm hoping the advice I gave her was worthwhile. She had asked about my parents, and I told her. I've found it easier to be open about it, I have told Merik and Leira as well, though after they finally reunited, it makes me wonder of my own siblings. Where I am, they don't currently exist, but even if they did...It has been so long since I've seen them. I wonder if they wonder about me, too, or if they just think I'm dead. I'm not sure if I could handle a reunion of my own, given what I am, what I did after our parents were killed. It was one of the reasons I avoided using the Spirit Orb I had 'purchased' from Rapt for so long in regards to my parents. I couldn't bear a negative reaction from any of them..
  
  But...on happier notes, Lady Cenedril and Lord Dralt got married and I couldn't be happier for them. After everything they endured in Eileadora, they deserved this. I'm happy to have been a part of an event like this, though I hope my gifts were alright - I've no idea what sort of things to give to someone during a wedding. Some of Lord Dralt's relatives arrived, from both sides of the family. I know little of their languages, but they seem nice. Tamasa's nieces have been especially so, though I wish there wasn't that big of a language barrier between us.
  
  Before this, though, Liam and I had gone to Plymouth. It hadn't gone well, and I'm not sure how well we're going to mend the friendship between us. Things said between us could've been approached better, perhaps, but sometimes I wish he wouldn't make me feel like a bad person. Sometimes, I worry he is oblivious to who I am as a person, how difficult it was before I could actually be myself instead of having to hide away from people who would kill me for simply being what I am. So much for happier notes, I guess.
  
  Wight has been enjoying being able to run freely, and the young twins had asked me when he could be back to his usual 'self. I wish I had a proper answer for that. They had told me they looked differently than they do, and I was intrigued, though they haven't shown me yet what they mean. Perhaps sometime soon. Lady Cenedril told me they're looking to learn things of a musical nature, and I had suggested Liam could show them a thing or two of his own instruments. I'm sure he'll like it.
  
  I've been practicing my own skills as well, though more of my blood magic than anything. I have learned better control and how to create things with my blood easier. However, keeping the created objects takes a lot of concentration. I'm hoping one day I won't have to worry much about them just losing shape soon. Merik has been curious about it, and suggested I learn how to take control of people as I can with animals, offering himself as a test subject. I'm really unsure about it, I don't want to do something that drastic.
  
  After one session though, I noticed Maxie hanging around outside once I returned from the forests. Days before, he had been his usual 'self and I had offered to paint the wooden toys he was making for him. Now though...he just seems distant. I'm unsure if it's something I should keep asking about, but I'm concerned. He had wandered into the forests after our talk, however, and didn't give me much opportunity to ask further.
