Duke Dracon Corbeau

History

• Biography

  Dracon Corbeau was born as the first and only child of lady Lyhazza and lord Esra. For eight years he was the only child in Dunveni Keep, which prompted his mother to raise him to become the next Grand Duke, despite only being the half-nephew of the Duke.
  
  When the Duke and his Duchess finally had a son, Nicodemus, Dracon's upbringing was changed from that of a Duke, to that of a common lord. Despite this, he grew up to be great friends with Nicodemus. He was trusted to escort his fiancé Anne to the keep, and later gave her away at their wedding.
  
  A few years after the wedding, and the birth of a son, Nicodemus was killed in a robbery gone wrong. Dracon took it upon himself to care for his and Anne's three-year old son, Ludovic.
  
  The Duke declared three months of mourning, but he only ever got to hold two.
  The day of the second month of mourning, Dracon went to the pregnant lady Anne's chambers to escort her and Ludovic to the mourning feast, only to find them both dead, stabbed several times. Among their bodies was Percival, the younger brother of Nicodemus, who had always been a drunk disappointment to his father, who's bloody corpse was found too.
  
  After the death of the Duke, Nicodemus, Ludovic, Anne's unborn child, as well as the arrest of the last living heir, Percival, Dracon was declared Duke, ruling over Dunveni as Grand Duke Dracon, the first of his name, of the houses Serpos and Corbeau.
