  Outfits
  
  Hunting outfit:
  She wars the furs of animals she has killed usually tied together with their sinue. usually in the form of a simple brazier and loincloth On her leg is strapped a bone knife for skinning and on her back she usually has her large leather bag to hold the left overs of her kill. This outfit allows her a great deal of movement and speed. It also helps to conceal her in thick brush
  
  Normal Tribal:
  She wears a leather dress made from bear hide It's loosely stitched together along the right side with large leather straps. On her hands she wore finger-less leather gloves made from deerskin, and generally a choker made out of bone.
  
  Normal Civilized outfit:
  she usually dresses much like a peasant from the- mid-evil ages. She will wear a long brown dress, a white fluffy blouse, and usually a dark red corset around her waist. If she is traveling she will wear a long flowing cloak either in purple or green depending on her mood/ which one is clean. IN her hair is usually a large bejeweled butterfly pin
  
  Formal Tribal:
  If she is going to a party or some special even she will wear her traditionally formal attire. This consist of both a knee-length skirt and tight sleeveless shirt made from Black leather and decorated in beads and gems of varying colors and sizes. some of them striped, others just solid colors. Her belt is adorned with the large skull of some monstrous beast to show that she is still single. IN her hair she will weave a few bones as well as some golden wire.
  
  Formal Civilized:
  She wears a victorian styled bustle dress. This dress has multiple parts as dresses of those times often did. The under-dress is soft off white. on top of that is layered dark brown silk that buttons up the front hand has flared shoulders that end in long sleeves and opera gloves. Over that sits some dark maroon crushed velvet. situated over her dress is an embroidered corset. On the front near the claps the corset has a large seal. Two silver blades crossing inside of a kite shield.
  
  War Outfit:
  ​She wears a tight black leather midriff shirt with patches of fur still clinging to it, and a long leather skirt. The skirt has a large slice up one side of it to allow for movement. Over the shirt is a breastplate made from bones. The bones are carved in a way so that the shape of a looping spiral spans across them. Her ears are decorated with feathers and gold rings, her tail holds a large silver ring by the base, and Her hands are decorated with bones as well. The bone gloves on her hand stretch all the way up to her elbow where they are secured by a sinew tie. During times of war she is also known to paint her face and fur with a red dye panting large spiraling shapes.

• Bio

  Retta was born on the sweeping plains and rolling hills of a land lost in time. Legend said that out west beyond the mountains, and past the great river was a land of giants. A lost land full of fantastical and rare creatures. Thing like hornless Rhino's, Sharp-toothed- horses,and dinohyus, buffalo, elk, deer, bears, and Paraceratherium in their feral forms are rather common here.
  
  Retta lives an extremely simple life. She hunts for all the food that she eats, since it’s too expensive to buy it, and makes her living by selling furs, leather clothing, and bone carvings. Her career does not make her a lot of money but it’s usually enough to get her by. Unfortunately she cannot enjoy the pleasure of alcohol. This is because her race does not have the enzyme that allows her to break the alcohol down, so it’s rather poisonous to her.
  
  Her moods will vary like all people’s do. If she is in a bad mood it will be rather obvious. However, occasionally she’ll like to mess with people. This usually happens to those who sit there staring at her. Sometimes she’ll intimidate them. Other times she’ll simply speak in a different language. Most of the time though, she is a rather present person to be around, and is always happy to talk to someone. Never the less, her more savage side can come out quite often. This will range from simply munching on a bone, to some of the things she says.
  
  As Retta grew up she had no formal schooling of any kind. She cannot read nor write and all of the knowledge has she been gained from stories that her parents told her, or things she has experienced personally. Yet, this does not hinder her as much as it seems. All of the essential know-how for hunting, trapping, making fire, finding shelter, cooking, skinning/tanning, and making leather clothing was gained in this manner.
  
  When she was little her and her sister would have little wrestling competitions each one pouncing on the other and trying to pin each other down. Once they got bored of that they usually pounced their mother whose incredible patience let the m tug on her ears, skirt, leg’s tail, and whatever else they could grab on to, and sometimes their father though he would usually kick them off.
  
  As they grew up, their father became less and less tolerant of them. This was a rather natural process for their species though. Around the age of four their mother finally got fed up with him and kicked him out. Before that at the age of two Retta and her sister, Tzatch got their names. To do this both of the girls participated in a ceremony. Their mother would go down to the riverbank and make the two of them masks out of clay. Then the three of them would go up to the highest point they could and wait. When a storm finally brewed, and lightning struck the masks, their names were branded to their face. Volvoretta means butterfly since she would always chase after them when she was little and came inside with a large butterfly on her nose before naming day. Tzatch on the other hand gor her name from the sound of a lightning strike. Instead of a butterfly pattern on her face she has a lighting scar on her back. Hence her name.
  
  After their father was kicked out of the den they were taught exclusively by their mother and this is where the hunting training started. Oddly enough though, their mother was not a hunter but a seer. Though she gave up long ago trying to teach the rambunctious girls the subtly of future sight. Their training ended at the age of ten. Once they reached that age, they both left the den and forged off in their own directions. Retta took the huntress route exclusively but what happened to her sister is a mystery.
