    The shield wall breaks to reveal the chain-leather clad Northman. With axe and sword in hand, he strides forward, thick beard twisted into a braid to match his extensively long hair, burning with autumn brown and weaved with beads. Dark and weathered, scarred flesh is painted with blue-black runes of Aesir script, tributes to his Patron God, Odin. Standing at a gargantuan height comparing to the Englishmen of the West, Hafr boasts seven-of-one, lined with lean yet impressive muscular form akin to a horse. His jaw, square and iron-esque, is clenched, with torn lips always pursed under his thick brown beard. A long birthmark, often mistaken for a scar, travels across his brow line, under his eye and to his cheek. To the peoples of his homeland, it is believed Ymir, Lord of Jotunheim, had dragged a nail along the boys face at birth, and even though such a feat would surely end a man, the boy was birthed none the less. He has been dubbed Frostbrow to this, Son of Gaerrar the Mighty, former King of Norway. His pride follows him in battle, long tree-trunk kin legs carrying his surly form with little fear, a mark of determination and eternal rage written on his mug. Though one would easily mistake the oxen-shouldered Viking for a Kingsguard, or perhaps an Earl himself, he is a simple farmer. His axe, for wood cutting, and sword crafted from broken iron of sickles and wheat scythes that have served him well enough over the years. Physically imposing to even his own brethren of the North, Hafr Gaerrarsson pledges his blood and honor to find new lands, and claim them for his people.
