Syn is a walking contradiction. Outwardly, smiling and laughing, generally friendly with strangers and friends while she longs to be away from the crowds, not fond of people in general. Often referred to as sarcastic, known to be blunt when it came to honesty. Friends would call her abrasive, her sense of humor with those she's comfortable around far from sweet. She feels awkward in situations where she's meeting new people, afraid she'll say or do the wrong thing that will scare them off, her demeanor trying to pass off for confident, the internal struggles buried below the surface. Her temper was known to get her quick into arguments, though it never escalated past words, never raising her voice and crumbling to tears if anyone yelled at her. Syn refuses to apologize for anything she says when angry, believing herself to be right on the matter. She does not take compliments well, never pleased with her appearance enough to believe others when they say she's beautiful.
When it comes to love and relationships, she falls fast and hard, the person becoming the major focus in her life, slowly consuming her every thought. Syn remains entirely loyal to her significant other, incredibly jealous and posessive when others get too close. Very submissive, and a bit of a "pleaser," doing everything in her power to keep her mate happy, in a state of constant fear that they'll suddenly up and leave one day, often voicing these fears to her mate, wanting to be open and honest in all things.
