    Mettaton usually comes off as either extremely egotistical and overrated or really loveable and positive. There's never an in-between. In reality, he's a little bit of both. He can be a little full of himself from time to time, but he tries his best not to. He hates how bad it makes everyone around him. He really just wants everyone to feel amazing and happy about everything! Because that's how everyone deserves to feel no matter what.
