OOC CHARACTER ORIGIN: I've played this character under the toon (toon being the term for 'alt' on MMOs) name 'Desperado' on the hero-villain MMORPG, Champions Online, since 2012. Champions is basically World of Warcraft, just in the present day, with way better costume customization, more immersive classes and powers, but less updates/areas... with super-heroes. Yes, I made a cowboy named Desperado in a super-hero MMO.
Why? There's an area in the game that's set in the Arizona desert, where there's a literal ghost town called Burnside. In Burnside, an evil witch razed the entire town from the dead, and they're angry about it. I fell in love with that story-line, and created Desperado to cater to it. In Champions, Dusty was resurrected along-side the other ghosts, but unlike them, he got his body back, along with unnatural powers over the western winds.
