For a Fratoni, publicity - good and bad - is everything. The social circle of Luca Fratoni is therefore a complicated piece to sew together. Not all makes sense, but nor does he make sense to all. Most people might feel close to him for his incredible skill to show interest. People share personal things about them selves, however only a few know him and his inner demons, and those are rarely the ones you expect.

BRIDGET "BIRDIE" VON ARX
The least expected best friend of his, is the young, fearless, very strange Bridget Von Arx.

Who would have thought a guy like Luca would take interest in a pure, untouched, but pink-haired little weirdo? No one but Luca. He knows what awakens his fascinations and interest, so when this young college lass approached him after a long, tedious conference meeting, he felt a connection. The two of them are very different, but at the same time an incredible match in a non-romantic way. They do, however, occasionally have sex, but they are the kind of people who high five each other afterwards. A strange pair of friends indeed. Birdie is Luca's better half, and now seen as part of the family. Which also means, when Luca's not dating, - or even when he is - she's most likely to be his date to any given events he has to attend to. -
ROSALEEN ANTOINETTE FRATONIAnd yet not to forget - you probably had seen this coming - The older sister, Rosaleen. It's no secret the Fratoni kids are close. In fact, some might even say they are too close, from seeing them lock lips in public a couple of times.

Unfortunately, that's not the case. At least, that's not how Luca sees things between his sister and him. He believes they have a strong and healthy brother/sister relationship, and the rumours of them having a sextape is very much just a rumour. The kiss did happen, but you never know the exact backstory of any of the things you see in the media. The two of them might seem similar. Both unbelievably intelligent, inherited from their mother. They both play mind games with people and each other. At the same time they can be complete opposite in their ways of behaving, while the sister's amazing at keeping herself together, Luca has his common characteristics with his father as well*. -

An paculiar pair of twins. So different, yet so similar. Both with a raging hatred toward a Fratoni family member, and oddly clever, as mentioned above - inherited from their mother. Luca loves Franky so deeply, which is why he respects her choice of excluding herself from the Fratoni household. They do stay in contact, but in a long-distance kind of way. However, that does not stop them from knowing just about everything about each other anyway. Again - so different, yet so similar. -
DESTINY BELLAMY ELLINGTON
Then there's Destiny. A stranger in a British village. The poor girl with a rich, kind, soul. Nobody would ever have expected her to be this dear to Luca. From to completely different backgrounds. But there was something about this girl, that kept fascinating him. How could somebody possibly be this pure and real?

Luca himself never even would have imagined a girl changing his view on certain things like Destiny did. She made him believe in real love again. Until his love turned into an obsession. There is this fine line between love and obsession, and as time went by, he crossed it. He crossed it badly. Obsessed with the idea, that she was the one, even when their love fell apart. "It was a mistake" he said, even though they both knew things wouldn't be the same afterwards. One summer in Italy can change everything. But the obsessive thought of the love that once was between him and Destiny, stayed strong for a while. But it did nothing but damage the sad remains of the few good things they had. An already lost battle.

PIERRE VON ARX
Fooling around with each other in all obliviousness of who they are, Luca and Pierre found common ground. A mutual wish for a quick escape from the horrendous, nefarious world they live in.

A rainy night, they found each other in a furtively hidden bar in a suburban area somewhere in New York. Lonely and drunk, desperately looking for anything but that. For the time being they decided to make up stories about each other, instead of enrolling themselves in someone else's life of chaos. They were each others' great escape from reality. For months they went as their given personas but quickly they grew fond of each other, perhaps even addicted. Whenever one was ready to confess their unhealthy relationship to intoxicants and drugs, they kept luring, then dragging each other down once again.
All this, while respecting each others' wish for anonymity. All they knew were each other and ones manners.

GRACIE JOYCE PARADISE
A grib of the French summer breeze, Luca charmed his way to young Gracie's heart. It was magical and sweet, just like that romantic chick flick you hate but still watch for your inevitable craving for a strong dose of romantic cheesiness.

The French Summer, 2014. A classic young Luca waltzing through the colourful streets of a small French village, captured by a beauty with class, yet innocent. Instantly he is fascinated by her way of viewing life, as she by his charm and mystery. A magical week of intense romance. Everything is beautiful and idyllic, everything is different from the daily routines - a great break from everything you know. Only a few pictures were captured by thirsty paparazzis, however their romance ended after that one week.
New York City, 2019. Five years later their paths crossed once again. Both different places in life, none for the better. As life hit hard, it threw Luca down a rough path. His substance abuse is all he's got. As they ran into each other at a hotel bar, their young romantic, or perhaps just nostalgic, feelings resurfaced. On a new level Luca found Gracie even more intriguing as how far she's gotten, while Gracie got drawn to this charmer she remembered from that wonderful summer of love. Oblivious from signs of drug-use she went with Luca, and for some time they ended up dating until Luca made Gracie realize how manipulating her mother was. As Luca kept pointing out things, Gracie got wiser, yet more confused when she discovered the dark truth about Luca himself. His substance abuse. No longer did she know who or what to trust. Perhaps this was where the porcelain cracked. -
