Background

As one of the smaller later testing groups, Echo was one of the first taken out of sleep in order to start her life learning and growing among the humans that she would end up protecting. In the following days, the rest of her test group were supposed to follow suit however, a lab accident caused the remaining subjects to decay. Echo in turn was taught on her own at first instead of in a larger group setting. By the time she was in her teens, there was some talk about putting her in with other test groups given how much potential she had in continuing on. That idea was scrapped in favor of being able to teach her better just on her own.

She was still a rather optimal pick for helping the church with the problem they were having. Groomed for such a life it was what she went with as long as it served her best interest.
