  • Description

    Her strong jaw, prominent brow, and drooping lids might make you think she were a brute. And to a certain extent, you'd be right. Raed is a barge of a woman, looking more like a man who could lift a small ox. She hasn't skipped leg day in 6 years and she could probably become a chiropracter with her strong embrace.

    Raed pulls the majority of her curls into a loose tail behind her head, though a long swathe frames her scar quite nicely.That scar and her fine leather coat are her only vanities.

    Her clothes are mostly utilitarian: a sturdy pair of hempen pants, a similarly-made tunic, and a good old pair of road-stompin' boots. The chainmail shirt is the only armor she could afford, and it only protects her neck, torso, and her shoulders.

    Her coat, though, is nice. She won it in a duel on the behalf of an old employer. Which meant she showed up, flexed menacingly, and the twit who thought he'd be fighting a squirrely tactician balked. She had to take the arms off of it to make it fit, but it's a great, dramatic swoosher. Nothing like taking off at top speed and your coat's hem trailing behind you like a cape.

    Bonus proficiencies in medium armor and martial weapons (not heavy).
    BRUTAL ATTACK, which is sneak attack with not-heavy weapons.
    CUNNING ACTION, gives bonus action every turn of combat to either hide, dash, or disengage.
    UNCANNY DODGE, can react for half damage if an attacker can be seen.


    Fighter (Battlemaster):, level 3
    TWO-WEAPON FIGHTING, can add ability modifier to the damage of the second attack when fighting with two weapons.
    WAR STUDENT, gives proficiency in an artisan tool of my choice. Choice: Woodcarving.
    SECOND WIND, on my turn, can use bonus action to regain 1d10 + fighter level worth of HP. Once per rest (short or long).
    ACTION SURGE, on my turn, can take one additional action on top of regular action. Once per long rest.
    MANEUVERS: DC is 8+prof bonus+Dex modifier
    • Goading Attack - costs one superiority die. When strike a creature with a weapon attack, can attempt to goad target into attacking me. Add superiority die to attack's damage roll and target makes a Wisdom save. On fail, target has disadvantage on all attack rolls on targets other than me until end of my next turn.
    • Riposte - costs one superiority die. When a creature misses me with a melee attack, can use my reaction to make a melee attack against it. On hit, add the superiority die to the damage roll.
    • Menacing Attack - costs one superiority die. When strike a creature with a weapon attack, can attempt to frighten the target. Add superiority die to damage roll, and target makes a Wisdom save. On fail, target is frightened of me until end of my next turn.


    Optional Feats:
    DUAL WIELDER, gives +1 bonus to AC while wielding separate melee weapon in each hand. Two-weapon fighting can be used even when one of the weapons in use isn't light. Able to draw or stow two one-handed weapons at once.

    DUNGEON DELVER, gives advantage on Wisdom and Intelligence checks to detect secret doors. Advantage on saving throws made to avoid/resist traps. Allows seach for traps while traveling at normal speed. Gives resistance to trap damage.
