  When not under magic suppression, Whelp has magical abilities that often run wild.
  
  When he was studding he was able to do simple tricks such as making fire dance on his finger tips, or filling a room with a specific aroma, but he had issues with the stronger magics as they often went wild due to his lack of focus. Hes been known to blow entire rooms up because he was asked a question while he was trying to light a candle.
