• Durga: version 2

  Her primary gimmick is an implant that creates nanobots that repair any damage her body sustains. Repaired flesh is replaced with a living metal. Any part of her that needs to be repaired repeatedly would get upgraded as it grew back. These upgrades can only be a projection of her will and something she could knowingly make use of. If she looses her arms, they grow back bigger and longer. She grew a tail because she wanted balance while jumping. She could never 'grow' a gun because she could never learn how to use it.
  
  Her size and appearance will vary as she is upgraded.
  
  When her brain is in fight-or-flight mode, the implant dumps a surge of nanobots into her bloodstream, boosting her strength, reflexes, speed and causing her to heal more quickly.
  
  If her abilities were taxed too much and her nanobots were depleted, she could eat various metals to replenish them quickly but quickly means over the course of an hour in the best of conditions.

  The living metal has replaced her teeth, jaw, and entire digestive tract.
  Depending on what injuries she sustains and the conditions under which she regenerates from those injuries, she can wind up taking radically different forms. Should she need to swim, she might grow a larger tail. Should she need to fight off many enemies smaller than herself, she might grow additional limbs.
