  • Biography

    Corrin Rose Baxley is a half Canadian, half Finnish college student studying to be an anthropologist. She spent most of her life in Finland but was born in Canada. Her parents, Corinne and Rosetta Baxley, died when she was in high school, prompting her to move back to Canada and go to school.

    Whilst traveling for a school project, Corie fell in love with the country of Russia, deciding she wanted to study abroad there instead. However, upon arrival, she saw that life was going to be much more difficult there and struggled academically and financially as well, meaning she would soon lose her house.

    In a last-ditch effort to stay in the country, she searched for a roommate. Aleksandra Zaryanova came into the picture, letting her move in with her, sparking a new connection between the two that would later blossom into something beautiful.

    That was until Talon came along, kidnapping and brainwashing Corie into going against the Overwatch organization, the Volskaya Industries, and most importantly, her girlfriend, Aleks.

    After nearly losing her life as she put up a fight against the Talon forces, she was then constructed with bionic parts, circuits now coursing through her body to keep her alive. She was brainwashed, trained, and transformed into a mental killing machine, able to get inside the minds of others easily. She was known for her illusions, able to make people see what wasn't there, shielding her own mind from danger, and being able to psychologically mess with her victims.

    Talon later dubbed her as Mirage and ordered her to aid her teammates such as Widowmaker, Reaper, and Sombra in taking out lethal threats to the Talon organization such as Overwatch.
