• Tools

  Lockpicks
  A simple, serviceable set of lockpicks kept in a folded leather case. Never know when they might come in handy. A callback to his more adventurous youth.
  
  
  
  Assorted Potions
  Kept in vials in a leather wallet hung from his belt. He often carries at least a few healing and curative potions with him, in case of emergencies.
  
  
  
  Assorted Poisons
  Carefully kept separate from the curatives, these occupy a similar case on the opposite hip. Some are quite deadly. Others, less so.

• Weapons

  Bitterfang
  A small bronze dagger with a divot along its upper edge, crafted to hold poisons. It hangs visibly from his belt. It never hurts to make a statement.
  
  
  
  Poisoned Darts
  Arguably Verlas' preferred weapon; a slim, lacquered blowgun decorated with what seems like an Akaviri scrawl and a collection of needle-thin darts. Often hidden in his sleeve.

• Miscellaneous

  The Lusty Argonian Maid
  A well-worn copy of Crassius Curio's famous raunchy stageplay. Its owner seems to have added to the dialogue, here and there.
  
  
  The Five Tenets
  A small booklet; barely more than a piece of paper stitched between two squares of leather. It has no title, but its contents speak for themselves.
  
  
  Manifesto Cyrodiil Vampyrum
  A heavily notated copy of what appears to be a treatise the tenets of an order of Cyrodiilic vampires. The notes scribbled in the margins are at turns, philosophical, critical, and comical.
