When her parents fell on hard times, she used this gift to sell people wishes, whatever they wanted, she would grant them, in exchange for a handsome fee. And for a time, it worked. Her family had money to spare, and they could finally set up shop in a quiet town. Until of course, her power turned black. Her wishes had become sharp, every wish had a sour edge. One wished for fame and made national news with his death, a man wished for wealth, and he was killed in a robbery. And finally, her father wished that his daughter would live a long life, and she became immortal. The years hang like iron chains on her as she travels the world, granting people their wishes, knowing full well that they would come to regret them...
