The Pack

It must be dusk.
Through the distance of night roared a hellish bestial scream, sending an unsettling message to all who trespass. You may have begun to move faster; perhaps running even! The rustling trees from behind forewarn of nocturnal stalkers homing in on your position!

If you stopped and turned around, you'd probably notice reflections of eyes, of varying colours, stalking you from the black shadows. Growling and snarling came from that area, it sounded desperate and sinister... hungry and as these new aggressors closed in on you, their disfigured faces and sinister looking teeth became visible. A pack of these creatures!

These creatures are the incarnate manifestation of nightmares! Their heads easily twice the size of an adult human and their faces morbidly disfigured. Their teeth irregular and scissored. The reflective hues of the eyes ranged from mundane to unique; teal, red, and white. Their rumbling snarls sound of death and hostility lead by an insatiable & ravenous hunger for flesh. If you run, you'd only confirm the inevitable and you'd likely be their next much-needed meal.
