Blaise de Normandie

Being born into the de Normandie family was a blessing and a curse. That family was second only to the royal family themselves when it came to wealth and status so a life of luxury was guaranteed for any of its members. However, that wealth and power were obtained through means that haunt the family to this day. When Blaise came into the world, he quickly understood what being a de Normandie meant and how many enemies he would have when growing up. This fact forged him into an accomplished man of politics and the shadowy intrigue behind the scenes.

When he came of age, he managed to grab the attention of the king who decided to appoint him as his spymaster. Being given such a position made Blaise a force to be reckoned with in high society and he was ecstatic, to say the least. His efforts in his position earned him the nickname, "The Thousand Eyed Duke" due to the innumerable amount of spies in his network - a fact he is proud of.
