• PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

  Physical Description
  Height: About 5'7"
  Weight: About 125 to 150, depending.
  Hair: A ruddy brown in color and completely straight. Often times it is tied in a ponytail or in a tight knot at the back. She does not have bangs.
  Eyes: A dark green-hazel, usually free of makeup. She does occasionally have dark rings under her eyes.
  Face: Strong jawed paired with narrow eyes and small lips. A few moles line her cheeks and neck. Her nose is small but straight, and her skin tone is between tan and olive.
  Body: Strong and robust, Jane is both curvy and lean. While her muscle mass isn't always wanted in a woman, it has served her well in her work. There are two tattoos on her body. One on her left thigh showing roses and and vines wrapped around playing cards facing backwards. And another on her back which matches, with the playing cards facing forward and showing an ace of spades.
  Typical Clothing/Equipment: Jane generally adorns armor with helmets, and she particularly enjoys lighter variants such as leather armor. Outside of combat, she prefers simple trousers and button up shirts with her combat boots. Occasionally, she will wear slit dresses which show her tattoos.

  Name (& pronunciation): Alice Marie Beaufort. However, she's long since abandoned this name for Jane.

  Place of Birth: Unknown. It's rumored to be somewhere within the Divide, possibly Ashton.

  Social Class/Community Status: Mr. House, Courier, Ex NCR

  Place/Type of Residence: Although she's generally on the job, she prefers to stay in Novac.
  Occupation: Being a courier means caps are always flowing, but it also means she's always on the move.
  Sexual Orientation Bisexual, although generally geared towards males.
  POV: A bit of a realist, and a bit of a pessimist.

• PERSONALITY

  Personality/Attitude: Calm and approachable, Jane is a very friendly and humorous woman, although often quite sarcastic and demanding as well. A natural leader, she tends to do things her own way despite being somewhat social and even-headed. Often seen as a go-getter and a perfectionist, she is incredibly self driven and often seeks to change the world in different ways.
  
  Skills/Talents: A natural with explosives and other quite dangerous weapons. She is also known to be quite persuasive with others.
  
  Favorites/Likes: Unique guns, odd collectables, old world relics, and sharing stories with others. She likes quite a few miscellaneous things, but has always liked politics and strategic conversations.
  
  Most Hated/Dislikes: Liars and propaganda especially. She cares very little for those who try to sweet talk their way out of a situation, or anyone that looks down upon her. It also annoys her when people don't take fault for their own actions. And oddly enough, Jane has a distaste for The Kings in Freeside.
  
  Goals/Ambitions: She seeks to end the conflict between the NCR and Legion, slightly because she feels guilty for ruining the lives of others.
  
  Weaknesses: Jane is very stubborn and easily angered. However, her biggest weakness comes with her inability compromise or settle for anything less of perfection.
  
  Fears: Being a tool for others, being without directions, and occasionally she fears herself and the actions she takes.
  
  Hobbies/Interests: Finding collectables, meeting strangers, sharing stories, and trying new things. Generally adventurous, Jane also enjoys the poor man's life, and tends to wonder towns and old shops.
  
  Philosophy of Life: Though she still ponders this, Jane generally believes that there's little advice to living other than to do what you love, and to find a way to change the world by doing it.
  
  Religion/Beliefs: Too many to explain. Though not religious, Jane believes in choice and freedom. No matter your path in life it should be one you chose to take, and never through the influence of someone else. She is a strong advocate against propaganda and the ethical bandwagon.
  
  Fetishes/Strange Behaviors: Jane is prone to small bouts of anger from seemingly nowhere. She also appears to dislike cacti and other plants. And lastly, she is often too easily paranoid or worried.
  
  Sexual Preference/Experience/Values: Though not a romantic at heart, Jane enjoys relationships and comradery from others. Physical love generally accompanies emotional love for her, and she's had a few relationships in her lifetime. Enough to know that people aren't perfect, but being picky can be a good thing.
  
  Education/Special Training: She has a great deal of skills, though most deal with combat. While there's little education in the wasteland, she went to school like many others in Ashton. And her time as a courier gives her more experience than most.

• BACKSTORY

  Backstory: Being born in the Divide, the political strife of the Legion and the NCR was common to her at an early age. Jane, although then known as Alice, was often seen as a very mature child growing up. She was deeply interested in the game of politics and rarely shied away from a heavy conversation. Always seeking to follow her parents wherever they went, she was both courageous and outgoing, and her quick wit was often cherished by others.
  
  Once she was older, Alice often sought to take prestigious positions in the community. She always enjoyed the work of security and guardsmen, as well as making decisions that help shape the city. However, she also sought to see the world outside the Divide. And eventually, her distaste for governmental affairs caused her to leave.
  
  When she reached the Mojave, she sought refuge with the NCR, feeling exhilarated by the chance to do good. However, she often fought with the commanding officers, and was outspokenly against the subjugation of the Mojave. Eventually, she was honorably discharged, and sought work elsewhere. Wandering into Primm, Alice enlisted into the Courier business, eventually returning to the Divide and her family after many long years.
  
  However, not long after, the missiles fell within Ashton (caused by the Fallout NV protagonist) and Alice was once again forced to leave the Divide. Through her grief, Alice became a rather unsavory drinker, and she tattooed her body to represent the home and happiness she lost, but never appreciated. Spending the remaining time in New Vegas, she was eventually contacted by Mr. House due to her work as a courier, who offered plenty of pay, and the possibility of leadership once his army was created.
  
  Her name was changed to Jane, due to her likely appearance to the automaton of the same name. And soon, her objective was to collect key items and collectables purely for Mr. House's convenience. She has never since looked back. Yet she always lives with the guilt of her home.

• ADDITIONAL FACTS

  * Jane has a great fondness for the people of Freeside. Particularly James in the Atomic Wrangler and the boys at Mick & Ralph's.
  
  *Despite not being apart of the NCR any longer, she still gets along with much of the soldiers. Jane respects their reasons for serving, even if she despises the leadership.
  
  *She loves music, especially the Ink Spots.
