  • Description

    As a muse, Senjata takes the form of her incarnation, though her essence tends to mold it from within. Whatever her incarnation's form, she tends to be small, if somewhat voluptuous, her tones tending toward golden or ginger, her presence strangely tidy and fastidious for one whose very essence is formed of raw, primordial Chaos. When in human form she is entirely recognizable, generally 5 feet tall, curvaceous, and freckled, with hair tending toward ginger, red, or golden, and eyes of a mossy green.

    Abilities
    • Incarnate Immortality: Each incarnation of the muse is itself mortal, if extremely long-lived. A muse in a human incarnation, barring physical or magical injury, may live 150 years or more, and maintain the semblance of youth well into their 70s. Upon death, the essence of the muse immediately seeks a new incarnation, which is born, and grows to adulthood at roughly the natural pace of it's physical host.
    • Cultivation & Harvesting of Primal Chaos: A muse's health and longevity thrive on Primal Chaos, which is the raw essence of Creation itself, and their presence fuels it's production from natural sources. Given access to such a source, even the gravest of injuries can be rapidly healed. (Such sources include artists, Fae folk, and the clinically insane)
    (It should be noted that these abilities are strictly passive. Muses that are not "lost" may access and wield Primal Chaos in more active ways, such as shapeshifting, and personal defense.)

    Liabilities
    • Dependency on raw Chaos: Without some source of Chaos, however small, a muse will weaken, waste away, and over time, wither to death. If a muse's mortal form dies of this withering, it will be too weak to seek it's reincarnation, either trapped in the corpse of it's former mortal coil, or drifting helplessly, haunting the location of it's death as a confused and miserable spirit. Such spirits can be sparked by prolonged exposure to a powerful Chaos font, though often, they remain trapped in this spirit form indefinitely.
    • Chaos Magnet: While naturally drawn toward sources of raw Chaos, some of these sources are inherently harmful or dangerous, such as the clinically insane. In addition, muses are not the only entities which thrive on Chaos, and some feed upon it parasitically rather than symbiotically, draining it without replenishing it. Hostile spirits can leech energy from the muse, and vampires, while their violent natures seed Chaos and thus draw a muse to them, can become addicted to the blood of a muse- empowering the undead creature, and draining the muse's strength without replenishing it.
    • Celestial Targets: Because muses are creatures of creation which thrive and exist in harmony and balance with the essence of Primal Chaos, Demonics and Diabolics often find them to be easy prey, and useful as slaves. Angelics, who fundamentally revile the wielding of Chaos, consider them tainted, and will sometimes imprison them, seeking to cleanse or purge them, or simply to isolate them from the grasp of Demonics and Diabolics who would use them as pawns. A muse thus imprisoned will wither, and efforts to purge them of their Chaos are an absolute, and permanent death sentence.
